Thanks! I was needing the adapter bracket for the rears, along with the harness adapters! No local shops could find any and even Crutchfield didn't show an application for the rears.

Our 3023 C8 HTC can lower the top in about 16 seconds while traveling up to 30 mph. Apples to apples. It also goes from 0-60 in 3 seconds or less and the 1/4 mile in the low 11s. It is also roomier inside and very comfortable to drive.

Dude, You're one of the only videos I've seen about installing a remote start on a VB WRX. Its seems so straight forward, that I want to try it myself. I've been quoted anywhere from $1,200, to the lowest $750 to have a remote start installed on my 2023 base. That's The other thing, that worries me, you made it seem pretty easy to figure out, although mine is a base model so I don't have the push to start, key only. but I imagine it should work the same way? So tempting, because this is a much cheaper alternative to paying somebody almost $800.
@HardwayLearning
@HardwayLearning 20 күн бұрын
Should be basically the same, just need to change it from push to start to key when configuring within their software

@@HardwayLearning well man, you got me second guessing myself. I have an appointment on Saturday to pay some guy $800 to install a remote start, apparently it's a compustar remote start. But now, I'm think cancel and save $500 and do it my self 🤔 a little over $300 all I'm isn't bad! Hey question, What happens if you leave it in gear, and you try to remote start it?
@HardwayLearning
@HardwayLearning 20 күн бұрын
You have to follow the brake/hand brake/release brake and lock with key fob for it to be "ready" for the remote start function. If you don't do that, it won't let you remote start. So it's fairly dumby proof. There is a quirk I haven't figured out where it seems to auto lock the car sometimes which makes me very paranoid that it will lock my keys in the car at some point.

Does this work for brake pedals as well?
@HardwayLearning
@HardwayLearning 20 күн бұрын
Never thought about that, but probably! Though I would want to be sure you don't over extend it. I've heard of plungers pushing too far causing issues (pushing past seals causing it to pull in air). Not sure if there's science behind that or not.

Did you have to drain the transmission oil
@HardwayLearning
@HardwayLearning 20 күн бұрын
You do not need to, but probably a good idea to top it up because you have probably lost some transmission fluid over time through the leak. We have a transmission fluid flush video, could skip to the end for the fill procedure.
@garyesada5766
@garyesada5766 20 күн бұрын
@@HardwayLearning It's not leaking. Just very rusty. I recently had a 6 quart partial fluid change because it has 125,000 miles and never was changed. I just bought it. I just don't want them to take out too much fluid too soon and then the trans to slip. I should have had them change the cooler lines then. Oh well. Going in soon for the lines on my Chevy HHR. Thanks for the reply.

hi I installed my new b14s with new bilstein front bearings on my s3 8v. Is it normal to have a slight noise on the bearings when steering from a standstill? they told me it depends on the lowering springs. Front -22 and rear -20. thanks bye
@HardwayLearning
@HardwayLearning 24 күн бұрын
Mine did not make much noise, maybe the strut isn't fully tightened to the bearing? That's interesting, usually people have issues with strut bearings if they don't replace them and they wear out.

Yes, I had already flashed mine with a United Motorsport Stage 2 Tune prior to install. You might be able to get away with a j-spacer on the downstream o2 sensor, but it will throw a check engine light if you do not have a tune or J-spacer.

This was a 2020 Corolla? I haven't quite had it for a year and it's has started to act up. There's no cold cold air there's cool air. So I'm going to check the relays. Is this an issue? Because my 05 was blowing cold constantly even when I first bought it and it was already past the 299-999 part. It was a 5-speed but never had any problem with the power of the vehicle when you put the air conditioning on, sometime is there can be a fade and power but maybe but the newer one if it's harder to fix then it can't get Toyota parts around here it's because they never break and now I'm worried because I've got a broken one
