I am still upset with Zags about the WCC tourney but this was a good game to watch even if indifferent to the outcome. For a while, it looked like the Zags were gonna blowout but then they were tested for real for first time since pre-conference schedule and passed the test. Texas will be more difficult, though. I am indifferent to the outcome.

I believe the Zags lost this game on purpose to force another WCC team into the NCAA tournament which denies another team its legitimate invite. I will not be supporting this team any longer. Not surprising they would do such a lowly dishonest thing, it is a Catholic university.

Did you watch the post-game interview? Not supporting this team anymore is your decision, but what you saw is not the whole story. The Zags didn't play well and lost. When they were the number one seed for the championship, the pressure they had to bear was extremely high, and that pressure has affected their spirit. That has led to today's result. However, it certainly wasn't a dishonest or inferior action, as you mentioned. They will come back stronger.

Ejim still #2 in nation in FGs made, 176 off 269 attempts. It has taken Caitlin Clark 170 more attempts to have 35 more made FGs. Of course, Clark's shots are lower percentage coming from all over the court while Ejim is strictly in the paint. In fact, Ejim is currently 4th in the nation in total scoring but is the only player of the top 26 in scoring without a single three-point shot made.

There's two kinds of shooters in WBB: there's the girls who can take a 15-foot jumper & miss both the rim & the backboard and there's girls like Jump, Ogden, Bueckers, Clarke, Hidalgo, Westveld, Citron, & Fudd, who can not only empty your wallet in horse & shoot the lights out in an elite 8 game. There's girls' teams that would lose to a good boys', high school basketball team & there's teams like Paige Bueckers' Huskies and Caitlin Clarke's Hawkeyes and Cameron Brink's Cardinals that could beat men's Ivy League teams like Princeton..

I think a few overhead passes like a soccer player inbounding the ball would have reduced Stanford's turnovers during the early game, if they're allowed to do that, that is. Second half: Get open for the inbound and pay attention! Plus, the more time Stanford spends under the basket, out-of-game, the easier it should get. Get well soon Cameron. Girls...get your flu shots and eat oranges.
