Finally someone understands why I do these ‘little things’ instead of telling me that’s not what I should do. It makes my brain feel and function better. I’ve not been doing this as much because I hear peoples’ voices in my head saying I’m wasting time or procrastinating on bigger things. I’m having a hard time getting back to ‘myself’ because of these voices and don’t know who I am anymore. I know that sounds more convoluted than I should be but it has changed me so I don’t totally recognize myself anymore. This concept extends to other areas . . .

So at 8:30, it sounds like we put projects into next action list because those projects have to be clarified. Is that right?

I appreciate you folks posting this, but it would have been helpful to see Ana Maria's slides that she was referring to. Also, the first 9 minutes of this 38-minute video were exposition, followed by 2 minutes of the content overview, and then followed by a minute of tools we'll need to experience the content. For folks watching this who want to begin with the assessment of your system, start at 12:05. I love GTD and appreciate content about it, but it seems to me that very little thought was put into the posting of this video; ironic given that the very content of this video is supposed to be about "optimization".

Por que no permiten poner subtitulos en ninguno de vuestros videos? Realmente es importante para mi y varias personas de habla hispana lo que David Allen hace. Ojala cambien esta actitud. Gracias

Would've been good to have "preview" in the title or something - I get that this is here to try to advertise GTD Connect but I wouldn't have listened if I knew ahead of time it was going to cut off before actually tackling anything mentioned in the description on-screen

Thank you for the heads-up - since the “video” (only audio) is 20 min. long & I didn’t read the description this time, either, I thought it might be the whole webinar. I’m disappointed, too.

David, I would be super interested in seeing an interview or conversation between you and Dr. Judson Brewer in discussing the relationship of his brain science-based Unwinding Anxiety methodology, mindfulness, and your amazing GTD work! I read your book years ago, but it wasn't until I used UA and unwound my anxiety about looking at my reality that I was finally able to start the GTD process with a feeling of flow. I now have a curious hope about engaging with my work and life appropriately. I think there is a powerful connection between what both you gentlemen have to share with the world. 🎉

David Allen's perspective on managing stress by feeling good about what you're not doing is both refreshing and enlightening. I particularly resonate with the idea of renegotiating agreements, as it emphasizes the importance of aligning tasks with personal priorities. Allen's insights remind us to embrace the present moment and prioritize tasks based on what truly matters to us. Thanks for sharing!
