It looks like a steak, but does it actually taste like a steak? My guess is no. It's kind of like those vegan bacon substitutes, they might visually resemble bacon and they might taste good, but they don't have the texture or flavor of bacon at all.

You need to update your recipe on your site. It calls for cup of coconut oil instead of tablespoon.

A piece of shelf liner or a damp towel under your cutting board Will keep it in place. Rocking a knife while your board is sliding around isn't safe.

It's just not a good idea to eat too much MSG, it's basically like chugging salts in one sitting (I disagree about it being like sugar, it's more like table salts than sugar, too much Sodium will just mess you up) - I have heard of it causing a brutal heart attack. So moderation is always the keys. Not to mention allergy that some people can't stand.
@SauceStacheКүн бұрын
MSG has far less sodium than table salt, about a 1/3 less. I mean true it's not a good idea to use too much, but realistically you only need the smallest pinch to change the flavor of food.

I'm not fully vegan but there's a brand here in France that I love, I haven't bought real bacon since trying theirs, it's called "La vie" if you're curious to at least take a look online ! They have other vegan meat options too

hey just wanna let you know that BetterHelp are not vegan because they oppose human rights (they are a racist & colonialist israeli company and have previously paired victims of israeli violence with israeli therapists, purposely)

I am not vegan, but I always love your stuff. Also, I hate portobello, but king oyster mushrooms are the bomb. Those and enoki. I always thought I hated mushrooms growing up. I still do tell people I don't like mushrooms though, because its easier than explaining I like certain types they have never had.

I will buy this instead of cheese if it was cheaper . Vegan food is to expensive, that's why vegans fail. Make your food cheaper for third and first world countries. And you will eventually reduce meat market. But most vegans are filthy commies so keep failing due to their lack of economy knowledge.

If you try to use the state to force me to not eat meat. I will lose all interest in vegan food...and i will go for vegan's flesh...

Beans are cheap… make your own tofu. Your comments sound a little nuts I’ll be honest. This is simply a recipe video. Nothing more than that. Make it if you want, no one is forcing you to do anything. At least not me. I could care less what you do.
@SauceStache2 күн бұрын
I have no idea what your political ideology is. And personally I don’t care. I don’t talk about politics in my recipe videos. From the sounds of it my politics are different because I believe in my country to work together and stop this one side is right and the other is wrong Bs. We have 2 sides so people learn to compromise but instead we turned it into a game of winning and losing and like you said, if my ideology is different you won’t cook my recipe hahaha that’s ridiculous. Learn to share, learn to compromise and work together.

My favorite part of mushrooms is that you can cook them to death and not ruin them. Vegetables? Mush. Meat? Tough(or mush, it depends). Shrooms? As long as you don't scorch them, once they're done, they're fine.

Hardest part of this recipe is trying to find king oyster mushrooms.
