I ❤ Sonic's Cookbook. One of my brothers gave it to me for Christmas last year. Although there are still multiple recipes for me to try, one of my favorites is "Sonic's Blue Oatmeal." I now eat a bowl of that stuff every morning before I go to work. 💙🥰🦔🎮

I know it's made with squid ink, in game... But the seafoam pudding graphic is bright green, so I was NOT expecting that monstrosity. Also, a periwinkle is a sea snail, so... unsure why lobster was the chosen seafood for the strange bun.

One day, Miso will make a full length movie with his wacky imagination and we'll all watch it. I, too, was expecting a lot more dark and fiery recipes out of this cookbook. :/ Something about it reminds me of 70-90s themed dinners.

i’m kinda sad that the skooma adaptation is just a flavored vodka. It’s definitely neat, but it would be cool if it included an ingredient like wormwood since it’s inclusion in absinthe had people rumoring that it makes you trip balls

I had to make my own Browning sauce using a 1/3 of a cup of brown sugar heating on low until it was melted and then adding the same amount of water. Heating until it was dark in colour then transferring it to a jar to cool down completely. I just made some Nuka-Cola and my one wasn't as dark as yours for some reason. Probably because I had to make my own browning sauce

I suspect that the beef recipe maybe was written with a more coarse type of salt in mind, rather than fine table salt. That's always an issue when giving volumetric measurements for things which don't always have the same density.
@rhinopoley4 күн бұрын
Exactly! That much fine salt is too much, but I could definitely see using that much of a course salt.

What type of salt where you using? It looked like 1 Tbsp. table salt in the vid not 1 Tbsp. kosher, does the recipe specify what to use?
