How do you think a 41mm Rolex Submariner would look on this wrist size?

Nice looking watch. But it's not a re-issue. Re-issues are done by companies who actually made the originals. Hence the word "re-issue." Of the three companies who issued them in World War II, only Bulova is left (Elgin and Waltham were the other two). Plus the A-11 was typically 32mm. Ideal size for a field watch would be 36mm like the iconic field watch Rolex Explorer. 42mm is not a field watch. That's a size for a dive watch.

The Khaki definitely has a sapphire crystal. A simple water droplet test will prove this. However, I can’t explain your test results. Unlike the other watches you tested, the Khaki’s crystal is slightly domed - perhaps that affects the reading? Nice video.

Jesus Christ. Nobody does a replica of Christopher Ward Watches. The Pagani Design Watch shares some elements with the CW design but it is not remotly to be confused with each other. It is a different color, a diferent bezel, a different loom and so on. The fact that you love your english watches should not distract you from the fact the china brands more and more move away from copying watches to developing their own designs. The new Pagani watches only share elements with the existing ones because there is a limited amount of options what to do on a watch surface and they are all in one form or another already done by somebody.

seems that pagani decided to make a hybrid mashup of the Seiko 62mas and Chistopher Ward Darmouth

They updated it with NH38 Movement now so the ghost position no longer exists, however the price went up significantly, and currently sits at £92. Stil worth its price!

But the movement is fragile, I have a broken movement due to "overwinding" which is bullshit, I slowly and carefully wind the clock and it broke! I am not alone with this, google or search on KZfaq ... I can not recommand the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical with the H50 movement... I bought the watch NEW directly from Hamilton a week ago :(

Had mine since 2017, such a good watch. Put it on your wrist and never worry about the time, date or battery again. Its also a great watch to set all your others if you have a collection. But yes I feel your pain the the MM/DD format.

There is now a new version of this watch from Escapement Time, 40.8 x 11.9 mm, with a PT5000 movement. It is better proportioned than the NH35 version, and looks more like the German originals with a more usable case size. It's more expensive, but a better watch.

love my snk809 seiko,reminds me of a military watch.have this and the cream colored dial.the canvas strap was stiff at first but has soften up over time,people dont like the strap but not that bad.
