They updated it with NH38 Movement now so the ghost position no longer exists, however the price went up significantly, and currently sits at £92. Stil worth its price!

Bought one of these last year. One of the first few watches in my collection. It's easily one of the best and understated watches in this genre.

There is now a new version of this watch from Escapement Time, 40.8 x 11.9 mm, with a PT5000 movement. It is better proportioned than the NH35 version, and looks more like the German originals with a more usable case size. It's more expensive, but a better watch.

Love the PT5000 movement. I have seen it and it's looks great, but I prefer the size of the original.

Thanks for the heads-up on these. Great looking watch. I was looking at another Flieger from Long Island Watch's Islander series but they are $100 more than these with the same movement. Might have to go with the Escapement :)

Not a fan of fliegers and I'm not keen on how long the counter balance of the second hand is. A nice review though 👍🏼

Just sold mine. Its an excellent watch for the money, but it's too deep and sits a bit flat. A 40mm version 12mm deep would have been perfect.

Agreed, it is a big piece. I think that it's more in line with IWC pilot watch style, but yes, it's a thick boy! The only German pilot style watch that I've seen that works smaller than this is the field hybrid Seiko SNK809.

*Scratch that!* ET have just launched a 40mm with a domed sapphire crystal and improved crown, and it looks... well, pretty damn good actually! 🔥
