Come and on bruv with 208 the drive is superior in city environment. Going over speed bumps with 40mph is a no problem. The steering for city is nice. The center of weight is alright for a hatchback not like a corsa or horrible clio like a sled 🛷. There reviews don’t know anything about city cars. I batter by 208 1.2 vti, potholes, speed humps, curbs. Bread and butter not like the low profile cars corsa, fiesta, German cars, Toyota. The clearance on this car is way superior - an inch higher makes significant difference in the city. Just the engine is burning 3l oil for 1000miles now because I drive it like I stole it for the past year 35k and it is still going amazingly how. Wetbelt is a problem change oil every 2800miles and oil filter, or it will start going also when replacing wetbelt make sure the timing is on point cuz it is low interference engine and a milimeter misalignment it will cause engine damage. So is the 1,6 diesel engine reliable for battering the car and driving it like a semi rail car will it start using oil of it is a chain ? Also Paris and back 4 people no issues, just occasional oil top up but if the engine was bulletproof reliable this would have been the best bang for buck nowadays. And tracking has been an issue for me maybe the mechanic was not proper. 2tracing now new tyre is gone in 3 months or 7k

This is still a "sport" for the rich who have a house with solar panels and money for a new car, what about people who cannot afford new cars and buy e.g. 10-year-old cars, like Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, etc. Additionally, charging with electricity outside the home is more expensive than fuel.

I am so effing sick of European automotive journalists deriding American interiors, they may not look as nice initialy, and the quality of the materials may seem "cheap" but they dont fall apart like BMW, Audi and Mercedes interiors. As a car enthusiast i have owned and driven everything from a Ferrari California, to BMW M3's and M4's to Mercedes AMG missile wagons and one thing i can say is that the interiors of my American cars aren't f***ing falling apart like the European vehicles are. My 2011 BMW 335i interior was falling to pieces, adhesives giving way, touch surfaces rubbing off. On my Mercedes S class the Interior squeaks, rattles and crunches over bumps and anytime you touch the dashboard or try to adjust the air vents, it is terrible. European (German) cars might have a higher initial interior quality but they just fall apart in an appalling manner. My beater 2000 Chevrolet Malibu LS has a damn near immaculate interior after 25 years, American interiors are built to last, they might not be as "luxurious" feeling, but they damn sure are more durable.

Approx 2% increase in power for 8% increase in cost . No thanks , just go for a remap if you want to wear the tyres out faster .

It is never this simple in the UK. I wanted a charging point on my garage which is separate to the house. To run the cable they wanted a trench dug with twin-wall ducting under our front lawn, but wouldn't do the "ground work". Couldn't find anyone that wanted to do it. The energy supplier were going to upgrade my fuse to 3-phase (60s build) but after digging the hole to access the cables said they needed access to my neighbours' property. He wouldn't let them in. Some discussion of these challenges would have been useful. Making everything seem so painless helps no-one.

Rigged, biased test: Gasoline would fill up the cab, like LP can. It will drip onto the ground & not cause a fire or explosion in the vehicle cab section. I presume the staged test, the cab was sprayed with a significant amount of gasoline. LP. on the other hand when it leaks its forms a volitile gas which can fill into the cab of the vehicle.
