@@MageSkeleton Not really. If it was worth your time to do dailies before, it's definitely worth your time to do wizard vault stuff. It's just an upgrade across the board tbh

@amirrajablo3743 I'm not sure I understand the question. If you're asking about the first entry in the video, login rewards, that's been replaced by the wizards' vault. It'll take a little bit longer to complete, but you'll get more gold value from it than the old systems.

I'm still active in most of the GW2 circles I was before. I just haven't been playing myself for a while now. SotO didn't speak to me and they messed with some builds I used to like playing. A lot of the friends I used to play with have moved on and I found myself wanting to play stuff like OSRS more. I'll never say never, but it'd take IRL friends, an old guild reunion, or a future boyfriend wanting to play for me to come back in the foreseeable future.

If you're looking to save frames, lowering quality on player models and hiding nearby players will make the biggest difference. Turning the environment and shadows down could help too.

I've got one for fractal farming. If you're referring to fractals in general, the best advice is to do them and try to get the gear/experience for T4s and CMs as soon as you're comfortable doing so.

@@abree107 you can do much things with it, the main purpose I'd use it for would be that you can create like little popups for procs or damage rotations. That would simplify what I am looking for :)

1. Not everyone works in a country/area that provides that kind of income. 2. Some people don't have any disposable income to spend (especially GW2, which attracts a lot of people that want to forego games with subscriptions). 3. Some people would rather play a game for several hours than work a job they hate for one hour to get the corresponding amount of gold. If you enjoy the game and like playing the content, may as well do it and enjoy the process for free. Everyone's situation and priorities are going to be different. If you love your job and don't mind spending the extra money, go right ahead.

The builds out there have definitely changed since I made this video. At the time it was whatever Snowcrows had for Power Soulbeast with Longbow instead of Greatsword. Some people prefer to farm with tankier builds, but I've always been of the opinion that getting used to dodging AOEs and telegraphed attacks is good for you in the long term. I used to main guardian and while I've not played with any of the new weapon options, I can tell you that dragonhunter might be more interesting for you than firebrand. The firebrand description sounds cool, but the animations and the way it feels to play just don't do it for me. Dragonhunter is way more interactive and I'm given to understand that bow is actually good on it again (check reliable build sites like Snowcrows), which would make it decent for tagging mobs in open world farms as well.

If you're thinking you can make money going back and forth on the currency exchange you can't. This only applies to people using gold for gems or vice versa. If you don't want to optimize it, you don't have to. But I'd wager this is the only guide to doing so. It's a very niche topic.

@B1az1ngSuN That's what I'm saying. If you want to get gems without paying real money for them, you'll want to look into gold making methods. This video is only about getting a slightly better deal when you go to buy the gems. The vast majority of the work is actually earning gold through farming, crafting, flipping etc.

I've personally only used maybe 20% of the consumable ones I've gotten from birthdays and most of those were only because I wanted alt characters on specific maps. I'm a pretty proactive player though. If you're really casual and a lazy player, it's probably worth buying after you've gone through most of your consumable ones? I'm just not the target customer.

I figured it out by clicking on stuff and also didn’t even know how to limit my dailies and weeklies to PvE until I saw a post about it on facebook XD but fair and all the other methods are still very good ones. And I do agree that the need reward system is much better

Currently, greens are wildly worth salvaging on their own because of the price of symbols and charms. Prices fluctuate, but it you want the most it's almost always worth opening and salvaging stuff yourself

A legendary consists of four parts, focus on one at a time and u will find that although costly, legendaries are not as daunting as you think

It'd just be 85% of sell price - 100% of buy price. People usually make excel sheets for that. Sam has a great video that I put in my gold making essentials playlist for how to setup a spreadsheet. Overflow Trading Company Discord also has a free sheet that's already hooked up to the API.

I'll be the first person to tell you that this game doesn't have much to offer after the central tyria exploration and personal story if you don't want to buy the expansions. I think they're a bargain for the amount of content you get. You get hundreds or even thousands of hours for the price of 1 AAA game. But there's definitely other games that will provide a better experience for completely f2p. At the end of the day I don't mind paying for a game that doesn't have a subscription and doesn't power creep through micro transactions, but that's just me. You do you.

Yeah unfortunately flipping camps is what you're relegated to nowadays.

You only use it for rare gear, which is only a small portion of the total gear you salvage. For most players, they can make Mystic salvage kits instead and it will be cheaper per salvage than the silverfed kit is. Eventually you'll run out of Mystic Forge stones, but for a lot of players, that will take months or even years of active play. There's also the fact that you can carry around 2-3 master salvage kits if you have no other options left, and it won't bog down your inventory much, but if you're missing copperfed, you'll be hauling around 10 or more basic salvage kits to salvage what you get in a few hour play session, and that clogs up your inventory a lot. To summarize: - Copperfed provides massive quality of life for any type of player and saves tons of inventory space. - Runecrafter's is just the best kit for green items and there's no equivalent kit available through other methods. It's a straight up upgrade to your accounts income. - Silverfed provides a small or moderate quality of life, depending on if you have forge stones or not. It costs more than using a Mystic kit, and only marginally less than using a master kit. Still okay to have, but definitely not as helpful as the others, particularly if you still have forge stones available.

I distinctly remember starting with less than 34 and being unable to buy a tonic I wanted. All it takes is patience and a willingness to learn.
