I absolutely detest when anyone projects with certainty what the Bible means and how it is carried out… give your theory but do not say with certainty that it is what it is… because no one knows and no one will ever know!

This is absolutely non sense! We have no idea where unborn babies go. We don’t know if baptism actually does anything… please, this is ridiculous!

I feel so fortunate to have come across this episode of your podcast. As the mother of a 2.5-year-old boy, I found everything Ms. Komisar said to be reflected in his behavior. I am lucky to have a husband who supported my wish to stay home during the first year of our son's life. Additionally, being let go from my corporate job when my son turned two was a blessing in disguise, as it allowed me to spend more time with him. However, I wish Ms. Komisar could study the impact of the humanitarian crisis, particularly the migration of people from the Middle East and Africa to Europe since 2015. I have worked in the biggest refugee camp in Europe on Lesvos Island, Greece, with children aged 5 to 17, including unaccompanied minors and families, and I often thought about how valuable it would be for a social worker or child psychologist to research these children and families. I invite Ms. Komisar to visit Lesvos Island, Greece, to observe how children develop in these challenging circumstances. I coordinated an educational program there, supported by the Barcelona Football Club, which taught children life values through sports. I live in Lesvos and unfortunately, immigration is still ongoing. By offering them love, compassion, and empathy, we helped them overcome war trauma and develop functional life skills.

If anything it would be more acceptable to take someone off of life support during a coma because you don’t know if they will ever wake up but a baby you pretty much know will make it, doesn’t mean abortion is wrong just means conservatives need to think with better logic

Wow, wait a minute. You don't have to be Catholic to receive the Eucharist. Lutherans and others receive it as well.

Has the author ever even known an (openly) LGBTQ+ person? I have never known anyone who identifies ONLY by his/her/their sexual orientation. We all have ethnic, religious, cultural, racial AND sexual identities. Heterosexuals don't need to be as vocal about their sexual identities only because historically that's been the default presumption. So if the rainbow flag representing inclusion and diversity really offends the author so much, perhaps she needs to examine why people who are different than she is (or maybe / maybe not) aren't entitled to be proud of all of their identities and not just the ones the author approves of.

Interesting topic, if he could kinda stay on the topic. I believe that the devil and his minions operate here on earth, but what rabbit hole did I just fall down when a father states that babies belong to the devil until they are baptized and that we don't know where the souls of stillborn or miscarried babies go?? I mean, I can't. There's God, and He's in my soul but this is on a whole different level of extreme, ya'll... 😢

We don’t make a lot of money- but I told my husband I’d rather be poor than hand my kids off. So grateful to stay home- but I often hear dumb comments from my husbands side of the family about when I will go back to work. I think, even though my husband is happy I’m raising our kids, there’s still that idea that earning money is the “productive” way and some day I’ll be “productive” again. I think even our very good men have this mentality that their mothers worked and so we are living a life of luxury. My kids are well loved, well trained and are learning to be good humans who live well in a home environment because I train them up every day. This wouldn’t happen in a daycare or even in a PreK 3 program. I love forming and loving my kids all day- but sometimes I want my husband to verbally acknowledge the benefits of me at home.

Why do they make everything gay ?? What’s the deal ? Why do they push this agenda ? Are they making money ? Nope ! Then why ?? Why is the mainstream so obsessed with LGBTQIA’s !??

Thank you Nick Freitas for being such a positive role model for young men. I also appreciate that they point out that it is also NOT okay for men to sleep around just like it’s not okay for women. It’s so common for men (who have done their fair share of “hookups”) complain or make fun of women who they know have also slept around. For some reason they think that is okay for themselves. I know this is not all men, but that is the social norm. EVERYBODY should wait for marriage! Thank you both for your positive messages to men and women! God Bless!

I agree with this woman’s position on the importance of mothers being present for their children especially when young but there is something about the way she presents this message that gets my back up and I understand the research and am on board with it. She sounds judgy rather than supportive. Women that want it all are a product of a society and educational system that has insisted for a few generations now that we can have it all - and a political system that expects women to work and raise kids because its good for consumption and GDP. You can’t spend the first couple of decades of a girls life telling her it is normal to study hard, get a profession and raise a family and then start dumping judgement on her mid-30s that oh ok actually you can’t and somehow have her take on a whole system that rarely has work life set up to be family friendly for young mothers. And then there are the many grandparents of this age that abdicate responsibility for their grandchildren arguing that their child rearing days are over and its their time to be comfortable and enjoy life. Wages have not kept pace with inflation and the cost of housing. We need systemic change. Women are not going to vegetate in the suburban deserts. Our society needs to find a way for both men and women to respect the needs of children without forgoing personal fulfilment and financial security.

I’d say that original sin, listening to the serpent letting him sow seeds of doubt, was PRIDE Thinking you know better than God, that God sees you as such a threat that he needs to lie to keep you from eating your way to geniusville, that’s ridiculous pride

John Zherka, although a bizarre man, taught me that every time you have sex (especially as a woman), it alters your psyche. Sex is so incredibly powerful and can be very easily misused.

Such as beautiful podcast to listen. Well done. I am also from Slovakia and we have 3 - 4 years maternity leave. However now I am living in Abu Dhabi and working as a pediatric nurse. I have just restarted my work after 6 months of maternity leave. I can see both sides of the story. I agree it’s important to stay at home and raise you child but also those mum’s back home ( like my mum who raised 3 of us) saying how difficult it’s for them to go back to society and work. It’s not easy for mum’s as nobody would want to employ you after that many years of maternity leave, and God forbid you have 2nd and 3rd child. Employers don’t want to employ young single/or married women as they are worried that they would be off for many years. In this fast changing environment it’s hard to keep up to date at work after 6 months can’t imagine for years. For example I would loose my nursing license if I would not provide enough practice hours and all my study and experience of 20 years in nursing would go out of window. Do we have to give up everything we were working for and ourselves if we want to have a child? And not be selfish I love her very much but I am also happy that my husband is forced to be little more hands on ❤

Peace be. The answer I am waiting to hear The Roman Catholic Church Bishop give is the ignorance of the Ecclesiastical faith painting The Holy Virgin Mary as another Roman Pagan Woman. Like Jesus Christ, that female Virgin Mary conquered the devil because she has not tasted death, and she birth and buried Thee Jesus Christ and no bishop of the Roman Catholic Church has a soft heart to give a shout out for Our Holy Mother to the devil/Antichrist as we weeping, Antichrist leave our Holy Mother with us. You Antichrist of all creation boasting you have power yet has not simple knowledge to kneel to Jesus Christ, you false witness have no power over no one not even yourself. Run, Run, Run Antichrist before Holy Mary and her children crush your head. We warn you go to your home forever in the name of Jesus Christ. Best yet, stay let Holy Mary and her children be entertained st the coming of Jesus who will ask u no question and tell you no lie before crushing your head; stay have your belly full of 1st laugh because he who laugh last will laugh the loudest. Thank you Jesus 1:07:44 .

It’s a privilege to be able to stay home to raise your kids. But America or American politicians don’t want that. They keep daycare astronomically expensive that women need to go to work because they can’t afford daycare or have a partner who can support them financially if they were to stay home.

Explain to me (1) where it says in God's Holy Word that I have to be Catholic to be Christian. I'll wait ... OK, now that you failed #1, explain to me (2) where in God's Holy Word it says I must be Catholic to partake in Communion. Again, it does not. But yet it is printed in the back of your Catholic Hymnals that only Catholics are permitted to take Communion in a Catholic church? How Christian of you...

If only women were treated well from the beginning so that they felt no need to leave the home and go to work. Weren’t physically abused, emotionally abused, financially neglected, cheated on, blocked from accessing education, blocked from owning land and managing their own finances. Blocked from making their own medical decision. Unfortunately, feminism arrose due to real life true problems.
