tbh i think that the ring cameras are a double edged sword. yes, we have had a lot of crimes solved with the help of them, but also they have normalized video surveilance to an almost scary amount, which is already very common and normalized, and now people have cameras on their doors as well, even if they live in the middle of a gated community with pretty much no crime, because people have become convinced that there are burglars and kidnappers and murderers around every corner climbing over each other to attack your home.

Having just discovered JPEGMAFIA, and having read the comments, I know there's a reason for it starting like that. But at the same time, the situation sucks for everyone. A good cop is killed. A veteran becomes a murderer in the eyes of the law because of severe PTSD. Their families are both affected, obviously.
