I lived in Pelly Crossing, just over a hundred kilometers north of Carmacks, a couple years ago for a summer. That brings back memories. What a beautiful country this is.

This is great - 99.99% of humanity (past, present, or future) will never get to see this part of Earth ..even fewer from just thousands of ft above it! Brilliant channel. Thanks for this one - it was cool 👍

Crazy skills man. I was holding my breath when you had the bucket between the trees.

Great video, a little piece of advice to help the issue with the first bucket. Always test the bucket before you get to the fire. I always test right at the first dip to make sure. Sometimes your dipsites are miles away from the fire. Also why are you running the bucket on the remote hook? I never seen that before, seems like more complications and if you have to pickle the line for whatever reason your hook and bucket are trashed.

I did a small spell with woodland firefighting out of high school, we had three choppers dropping buckets trying to slow it down and the crew I was with almost got backed into a corner. If it wasn't for someone with the skill, nerve, and good awareness to drop those buckets with good accuracy we may have had to abandon our position or even god forbid do a burn over. So hats off to you and what you do, fly safe out there.
