Is this the reason why Magnus arrived late sometimes. He knew the psychological effect

I don't understand why does't Magnus play Bxf3 after e5? That'd fork both of the white rooks.

Imagine Magnus seeing his opponent’s first move and saying “that’s mate in move 108” in his head.😂

4:32 Can someone explain why not: black Ne2+ ( K and R fork)... white Rxe2, black Rxc1+ and then on black's next move Rc2 anyway !? 😯 After that, it would be difficult for Carlsen to make his Rd2 and control his pawn later. At the same time, the black rook would control the 3(c) open column and the game could continue possibly differently. I'm not a great chess player, just asking.

Watched this live at the time there was commentary from the crowd that was masked by the commentator here. No doubt the original is lurking somewhere maybe Anna’s channel?

Why is it necessary to express the fact that she is a woman? It`s a brain`s game. What does it matter who is male or female? Or does it?

Fairly obviously, Carlsen knows that Polgar was a 2700+ player at her peak, so he wouldn't have underestimated her - but at the time of this game she'd been retired from tournament play for years so he might have expected that she'd be a bit rusty. Completely annihilating the world number 1 in that situation is impressive going even in a casual park game.

So that's where Magnus picked up his habit of being late. It's Kasparov's tactic.
