Not to be crass, but I made my baby in the same position they make us give birth (on our back) and that only made my vaginal opening tighter soooooooooo I don’t think that’s the most optimal position to make room for baby lol

Why don't take the fixed combination form which you get all of those in just one capsule/ tablet. That looks like a burden to a pregnant person considering the nausea and vomiting.

It’s crazy that women give birth on their backs nowadays. Think of it like this: would you push a poop out laying on your back? Of course not!

Bit of a dumb question! Should we be doing these positions during contractions or between contractions? Or both? Thank you so much for all this content, it has been the most helpful.

I’m really praying for my next baby to have a vbac i hated my recovery plus I had preeclampsia right after coming home from being in the hospital for almost 5 days. I was exhausted I barely got rest until after getting my treatment from preeclampsia.

So the trick is to just not pray and wait a bit then you can experience the fetal ejection reflex?

All great information. However, you never once utter the word “pain”. I think this is a disservice to women. You and many many others online use the word “intense” instead of “painful”. I’m sorry but “intensity” does not come close to describing transition (or often way before transition). It’s painful. Extremely, shockingly painful. Let’s not sugar coat reality.

It's actually different for all women. I don't think it's negative not to describe it as painful. Intense can cover it just fine.

I watched this yesterday at 36+5 days. I had no idea I was going into labour that night & I stayed at home to labour for as long as I could, until I felt my water break. That was about 2.5 into contractions & next thing I knew I had the urge to poop on the way to the car. Baby was born at home unplanned. No regrets, he's totally fine, but it was pretty shocking that it all happened so fast!

My dream of normal naturally coming delivery got shattered when they told me my baby has Fetal Growth Restriction. On Monday I go for stress test to see if my tiny 4,6 pounds baby will manage contractions... After Monday they will induce me some of following days, in my 37th week. If baby does not manage contractions, I have to get C-section... 💔😓 I am already very dissapointed how badly this is going after completely smooth and nice pregnancy... 🥲 It is judt shocking as these things I learnt only 2 weeks ago.

Hi, great video but I didn’t quite catch your job description. Why is the midwife’s and doc not helping mama achieve natural birth and push more for back vaginal birth. Because your explanation makes sense. Where did you gain all this good knowledge which isn’t taught to midwives?

As a believer in GOD i won't be scared when it comes to labor cause I'll be praying a lot and listening to Christian music. All I need is Jesus. Jesus will handle the rest

With my first I researched and learned all the right breathing techniques but not pushing positions. My second was born June 12th. It was a quick labour, and I used your breathing techniques to get through it without an epidural, and both my husband and I advocated to push in squatting position. In just a few pushes and no tears, baby was born :)

My second baby was born June 12th. Went from 2cm dilated to getting the urge to push within about 30 mins. My husband and I advocated for me to push in squatting position and used your breathing techniques. Baby was out in just a few pushes and no tears/no epidural! Thank you :) safe to say I had a quick and easy labour!

My first baby I didn’t realize the importance of anything like this. Thank you so much, and awesome explanation!! Due in 2 weeks, hoping not to tear! Tore my labia with my first and I’m not sure if it was the position I was in or not.

So so so helpful! One question, when should we head to the hospital? Is it when the baby is at a positive station or 0 station? I watched one of your videos on this and you said to wait until contractions are 3:1:1 (among other factors). What about the pelvis station?

Thank you for the reminder! I am 35 weeks with baby #7 and still need to hear this positive message. Thinking about my previous natural births, I was totally calm and focused throughout the labor. It doesn't feel overpowering to me until pushing and by that point it's nearly over!

Thank you so very much for this content. I watched this serie of videos prior to labour and I must say they were very helpful. I got to experience all of your tips and tricks. And for once in 3 births, labor time was exactly 6hours all phase included. Not to mention that I was also able to achieve a VBAC. It is too long of a story to share it here, but I had to comment and thank you for all you do for women. Thanks again.

You are so inspiring! I attempted a vba2c with my third baby and it was so awful because of my midwife. She ruined my experience, had me drink a whole bottle of castor oil to start my labor because I was overdue, then as I was in labor I felt so rushed because she told me she had to get to another birth. Her and another midwife literally convinced me that I didn’t have to struggle and to go to the hospital, so we went…. Then dropped me off and left me to go to the other birth

I just attended a birth where the dads family being present led mom to have an unexpected c section that was no emergency. Everytime dads family inserted themselves her labor stalled, contractions stopped and she started to close back up. I wish moms didnt have to learn this the hard way.
