I have a question. So I am taking over a preschool class with one 18month child and the rest 2-3. They have a routine thats been in place for a year now. I understand that consistency is important but at what point can I introduce my own ideas without upsetting the balance too much? I am currently working with the teacher on how to slowly introduce me to the class so they become comfortable. Is it just a case of constant observation for when the time is right?

Our preschool is located in a church and they have a large fellowship hall that we can use as a gym. We really are blessed to have that space since it rains a lot here.

Hello. I hope to find some help with my issue. I used to teach 3 yo. However, this year, I will have six 3,5yo and two 2,5 yo. I have a question about what toys to use. Most toys I have for older kids are 3+, which are suitable for fine motor skills and cognitive development. I cannot give those toys to play with younger kids. What would you recommend? I thought of having small groups for older kids so that they would benefit more from the program. And let the youngest play with an assistant.
