DCP Fire extinguishers are the most common household Fire extinguishers, and should be effective in basically cooling the fuel, and smothering the Fire, but you will soon find out if the cooling and smothering fail, since failure of those, will lead to the possibility of re-ignition.

13B is the fire rating. B is symbol for liquid fire and 13 ( according to EN 3-7) is volume of N-heptan that used for B fire peformance test

If only Halon 1211 wasn’t so bad for our environment :-/ FE36 is good stuff, but you could have put this fire out with a 5lb Halon extinguisher easy vs almost 8lb of this replacement agent

Aren't you supposed to stand about 8 feet away?.... not 18 inches, Hahaha! I guess it should work either way. But I think there's an 8 foot rule, because the gas can't actually affect the entire area at such a close range, but, whatever works :)!
