This hot rod is absolutely stunning! I know it's built mainly for show but i'm guessing it would do 0-60 in about 1 second and theoretical top speed would be over 200.

Fantastic Just SUPER great‼️✨ Thanks STACKS Most beautiful car Never seen a convertable before My Dad’s ‘66 390 saloon was black as well, with red interior BUT, it had electrical windows… On this one i see you have the ‘390’ emblem on the side down low behind the front wheels I was looking for that… Quite emotional now, i can admit🥂 👊🔥🪖💫

I inherited my grandfather's '63 Mercury Monterey when in high school. It had the 390 2bbl. It might be the quietest, and smoothest car I ever drove. The doors closed like a vault. Wish I still had it.

Love the Galaxie. I have a total rotisserie restoration 65 Galaxie 500 LTD. My question is. I noticed the trailer hitch. I'm looking to add one to mine. Looking to get an enclosed motorcycle trailer to haul my Harley. Previous owners kept the car sitting in their collection but I bought it to drive. I'm retired and have plans for traveling with my car and Harley. My retirement dream. Could I get some pictures of the hitch and how it's mounted. There's not much out there for old cars. Thanks and enjoy your ride

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Back in my heyday , late sixties ; most guys wanted mid fifties chevys ; they were out there , and I never saw one that was not worked into a hotrod.......I found my first car in 1969 , a 55 Belair sedan........As time progressed , everyone agreed that to go fast we needed a lighter body ; so the little chevy II's became the choice car........I knew a guy that was sellin a granny car with the original six cylinder ; it was a good car to build because it had a clutch ; it also needed a passenger side door , so for 75 dollars the 65 sedan was mine.......I drove the oil burning six everywhere ; then I finally pulled the 327 with the scattershield and muncie out of my 55 chevy ; into the nova also went hooker fenderwell headers......I had the 2 door sedan with the fat wrap around roofline ; I also hated the ugly headlights and grill that came on the 1965 models ; so I found a complete 1964 setup and made the car mine........Back then the cars were death traps because very few knew how to upgrade the six cylinder brake system.........................Got a few cars today ; but I'd love to have a 1964 nova post car , and put a 6.2 LS into it.........I'm lucky to have three pictures of my first nova , the second was a 1969 ; also a granny six cyl. car..................

An update to a properly-matched Quadrajet carburetor would go visually unnoticed. So would Positraction, if it already doesen't have this option. Yours is way out of tune. When they run properly, they can really haul @$$. I had an originally red with white interior '66 Starfire with Positraction and rear stabilizer bar. It was the best car I've ever had, before it got stolen by a Detroit junkyard, while it was stored in a garage where the residents moved out. The cops didn't go out of their way to locate it and the yard's owner wouldn't let me into the yard, while making it a point that I would see his revolver

I recently came across a video of someone that had a T-bucket that had steering go out at 70 mph. They didn't wreck but the problem was the splines in steering box had stripped. Too much pressure put on the splines because column had no upper support. I notice this car doesn't have support either. Any problems there?

My favorite cars for 65' when they came out was the 65' Tbird, 65' Galaxie, 65 Chrysler Imperial. I built model cars of each one back then, even though in reality I was more of a performance Chevy Impala/ BelAir guy.

Great to see this video in 1988 to 92 living in Orlando Florida I had a 1923 t bucket with a 289 board out to a 302 with two four barrels sitting on a Weind high-rise manifold. I had the real antique headlights all brass with the brass radiator Harley-Davidson motorcycle tires and chrome in the front on the rear with 31-15/15 slicks and out the back were stainless steel wheelie. bars custom buckets inside and it was all black. If I figure how to send some pics I could do that I love that car but moving from Orlando back to New Jersey I didn't think I would be using it that much with the kind of weather we have up there so I sold it to someone living near lake Okeechobee.. I sure wish I could get it back.
