I'm not gonna comment on each one, just the one that stand out the most. Byakuya: Looks older and even more of a jerk.. looks more like a detective. Chihiro: Looks like the base concept for Yuma Kokohead from Master Detective Archives Rain Code. Monokuma: *Nope* Hajime: ...Honestly the early concept matches his in-game personality and dialogue better. Fuyuhiko: ...Nope. I don't vibe with that. Hiyoko: Looks about the sa- WAIT, IS SHE BAREFOOTED? Nekomaru: He looks too cool to be a Team Manager. Teruteru: A glow up, but he looks even more of a sleaze than his final version.... Kaede: BRO. WHAT IS THAT HAIR? AND SHE HAS A FEDORA TOO?? Gonta: What he would look like if he wasn't gentrified. Himiko: ...The pajama suit would definitely explain why she's so low energy all the time. K1-B0: *EW.* Kokichi: He looks like an actual kid. Korekiyo: Went from looking like a Japanese Imperial soldier to... I'm not allowed to say the word, but you know what I mean. Maki: Leaning hard into that Ultimate Child Caregiver talent. Rantaro: _Let The Bodies Hit the Floor playing in the background_ Ryoma: He looks like a cross between Ed and Eddy, no chin and no neck... Shuichi: Honestly, a huge improvement compared to.... *the hat.* Tenko: ....THIS. THIS IS WHAT THE ULTIMATE AIKIDO MASTER SHOULD LOOK LIKE. Tsumugi: ...Looks even more plain than her final version... and the whole point of her character is that she's the most plain person in the entire V3 cast.

Celeste's actual name is Taeko, which have various meanings, including "mysterious child". Pretty fitting considering that she doesn't actually likes her true background.
