Hi from CT good score I'm also a dumpster diver and I do get a lot of free stuff im always diving and believe me I find so much I just hit dog food big bags and three 24 packs of toilet paper and coffee it's crazy what u can get for free cause spending money hurts I don't spend nothing stay safe out there happy finds

Hey there ! I am constantly surprised at the things I find in the trash. I absolutely love finding things for free , especially when it's stuff I can personally use . Have fun and happy diving !

Please be careful with the food. Mice, roaches and other vermin crawl, chew and infest food items in the dumpster. Definitely stop donating dumpster food. It’s a health hazard.

I most definitely will NOT stop donating food but thanks for your two cents. I've personally eaten things from the dumpster and I'm still alive to speak about it 😁 You hear the word "dumpster" and get grossed out immediately. It's sad your brain can't get past the fact that here in America we WASTE so much - from food to clothing and everything in between. Sometimes there are legitimately good reasons to "trash" something but for the most part - it's "close to expiration date" and that's the reason . So instead of DONATING IT , THEY TRASH IT ( because they can do that and write it off as a loss) which is where I come in . I have been honest with the food pantry I donate too and they have 0 issues with accepting the donations.

Yeah , occasionally. I have a 5 seater . So most of the time stuff goes in the trunk. I don't always have all the kids with me . Only 1 enjoys going the other 2 go if I don't have a choice.

Hahah I can't always take all the bags . I have to be selective on what I take i have 3 kids and car seats so I'm limited on space .

Plus with work and a baby (under 1) I'm limited on my time . I have to use it wisely. I don't like to take everything all the time because then I have to store it somewhere which if it's food can attract rodents or pests and I only make 2 trips to the donation spot a week 🥴
