I would like to ask about the motor i have the same motor and my pedal asistent stopped workin the motor is working the gass (acceleration ) its give me power but the prdal asistent its not working i do not want to use it like this its not so much fun and my battery is not last so longer like whit the PAS . Can you help me with this maybe what do you saggest what can i check what can be the problem? It was a day when started to work again for 10 minutes and then stopped again...

hello. idk if youll see this or not but i got a good deal on a full stealth bomber frame with a dnm shock and volcano forks for really cheap i was wanting to know how easy the install was with the motor

My advice on connectors, cut off the anderson poles, they are not fit for purpose with the type of currents these motors use, i have 3 bbshd's so similar amp and current range to dm01 and after having my anderson connectors part melt and start giving bad conductivity i cut them off and use xt90 instead.

Hey- thanks for the excellent teardown and presentation, it's very helpful. Do you know the millimeter offset of the 46t chainring it came with? Toseven sell 36t, 38t, 42t, 46t and 52t 9mm offset chainrings from their store. Would these have the same/less/more offset than the original?

I have a yamaha pw-se motor my battery bms went into protection e and f flashing so do i leave old bms on or do i remove it completely? Do i get another bms put that on the battery or do i not need a bms at all does this device protect my battery if i just add it to the bike my bikes a hardseven 1.0 haibike 2019 model help appropriated guys thank you.

Hey, I wanted to use the Yamaha Battery from my Haibike for my CYC Photon build unfortunately the battery wont give the motor its full power due to not connected communication line. Is there a way to trigger the battery that it will give its full power?

may i ask which cassette you used as the donor? its really hard to find a cassette without weight saving cutouts on the bigger cogs... thanks!

Thanks! How do I figure out which firmware I should flash to my old BBSHD motor? You chose a file called (latest), but aren't we supposed to be downgrading the controller to older software? My old controller is labeled with "CRR10E4830E090001.1"

Anyone know what the error e and f is on sduro 1.0 battery hiabike yamaha if i fix bms would that error go i see burnt component on bms near bkue and white wire cheers.

From whatbi have heard, bafang is making their motors not programable via the programming cable and app. Some motors lock you out with thw 30H code straight away and some give you a few goes at programming. And then theres some that are not able to be reflashed by a laptop. I have not been told why Bafang has started doing this, but im sure theres a good explanation

Ever had any controllers go into 30H error code after using a programming cable? I had had several including a 750W . i used rhe cable with my phone using the SPEEED app. Aparently it is rare for this to happen. I also had it happen to a 750w using a eggrider display. Which seemed very odd

For some reason BBSHD, M625 and M635 mosfet heat spreader plate is not bolted tight against the housing compared to Toseven DM-01. Strangely nobody talks about it but atleast BBSHD has thicker phase wires for better efficiency (that might not matter since they are short anyway).

I have also intermitting motor support. After every 2 seconds the motor support cuts out for the blink of an eye. All the exterior sensors and cables seem to be alright. Have tested it with a second motor. I have fried my controller because of voltage peak. Is it possible that a voltage peak have fried my torque sensor too?

Is it possible to repack original Yamaha battery with new cells? Will it work in that case?

I just completed my build with a cyc x1pro on a mongoose full squish. I used that same chain tensioner and it disintegrated in the first half mile. Pushed it back home and ordered a little beefier pulley. I found one with a solid pulley and reduced the spring tension because I don't need to strum a "C#" on my chain. Also fell on my enormous head on the second ride so I'm pricing helmets today. The weight of the bike effectively doubled when I put the motor and battery on and the balance/center of gravity way different. Was probably not my best idea to try a new thing on a trail covered in wet leaves. I actually went with the Shimano Nexus 5sp IGH and stitched the wheel together myself, way easier than I thought it would be however I did make that classic rookie mistake and the valve is in the wrong place.

Sounds like the setup I’ve been looking for a “spare” bike - simple and *as light as is practicable,* no need for speeds above 12 mph/ 20 kmh… decent hill-climbing ability, can tow lighter trailer (to and from hotels, for instance)…
