It is very important for any person to find something to strive for and fight for no matter what the circumstances. Once you set the right goal for yourself, making decisions will be easy and fun. What used to seem like an excruciating chore will turn into an enjoyable activity. Go where your labour will be needed! Go where there is money and where your work will be decently paid! Sooner or later you will have to co-operate with people of different nationalities and cultures. To make your business successful, you should learn a foreign language. I would like to recommend to you Yuriy Ivantsiv's workshop "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips on learning foreign language". This book will help you to structure and organise your individual language learning process, will give you the opportunity to independently determine the methodology of language learning, which will become interesting and unburdensome. In this amazing book everyone will find a lot of useful information: how to learn foreign languages, how to memorise information, how to deal with culture shock, what to pay attention to when travelling to another country. I am convinced that the book "Polyglot Notes" should be in the bag of every business person, school and college student, and tourist. The most important thing is that the book gives a good motivation. Don't be afraid to do something to realise your dreams! If people realised that fears have no connection with reality, everyone would live a much better life. Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video. Your videos motivate me and give me new ideas!

Your videos are so valuable! Thank you for putting these out, hopefully, they help people who want to use their careers to help the planet find their way. I don't have an environmental science degree but I work on environmental education, direct stewardship, biodiversity, and communication and I think there is a lot of pathways to contribute to this field outside of some of the career paths I have seen you propose in your videos. Are you open to chatting about those other paths to a career in ecology? (my educational background is in fine arts btw)

You can still trellis your squash plant or stake it up to give you room underneath. Your garden looks great! I’ve been gardening for a few years but have to deal with a lot of fog😢 which some plants just love like carrots, potatoes, lettuce etc but can’t grow a pepper to save my life 😂 keep growing on!

OMG that white butterfly flying by your kale is most likely a cabbage moth! They land on cruciferous veggies and lay eggs that turn into little green caterpillar that eat holes in the leaves!! My dino kale, brussel sprouts, and collard greens all had the damn green caterpillars! I didn't know about it, I'm still a beginner gardener too so i was so stoked to see this pretty white butterfly around my plants.. NOPE. It was laying eggs on the leaves that hatched and almost ruined my veggies! Keep an eye out for them. You can buy mesh type bags to keep over anything that doesn't need to be pollinated. Good luck girl! We got this! ❤

Lesson 1…always research how much space a plant needs once mature…lesson 2…distinguish whether or not your plant is determinate, that is a fixed growth size or indeterminate, that is it continues to grow as long as the weather holds…. On the bright side…your plants look very healthy!!!

I have similar problems. I have squash to close to watermelon. My tomatoes got to much nitrogen. No matter where I planted carrots, I couldn't get them to grow. I did find one tool I could have used first, a garden book for my zone from my university agricultural dept.

I started a year and a half ago with four 5 gallon buckets. I watched many videos on YT and kept learning on a daily basis. Planted different things to fit our needs. Today we have 23 raised beds (1300sqft of the yard) and 18 fruit trees in 21 gallon containers in a small part of the yard. We're hoping to plant them somewhere one day and not lose them. Some fast advice: - plant stuff when it's the season to do so, planting out of season gives terrible yields - failing to grow a crop 2, 3, 4, 5 times doesn't mean you can't grow it, keep learning and trying and you'll get it - if a seedling starts terribly, it will tend to continue that way, get rid of it and get a helathy one - pests and diseases are annoying, reserach organic methods to getting rid of them if you want and find what you like - try to have a bucnh of extra seedlings lying around, if something goes south, you'll have something new to plant in it's place (if you don't use the seedling, compost it) - FERTILIZER. A lot of internet says you just need compost, not in my experience, use organic fertilizer and compost to feed the soil microbes so they can feed your plants (garden tone is a good balanced one). If youve read this far, here is a controversial topic: I've found it okay and helpful to use synthetic fertilizer. Organic fertilizer works but it takes long to break down, ot causes low yields, especially with new soil. I use organic fertilizer and compost to provide organic matter, but I supplement with synthetic fertilizer following package instructions and the combination has worked excellent! Our soil looks fantastic, its healthy, it has worms, and planta are thriving. As the organic matter breaks down, we should need less and less synthetic fertilizer which is excellent. If you have to pick some fertilizers to start, here are my suggestions: -Garden Tone (3-4-4) -blood meal (12-0-0) -worm castings That combination will do nice. If you decide to use synthetic fertilizer, I use 24-8-16, be careful not to overdo it! Otherwise you'll have a bunch of leaves and little produce due to so much nitrogen (it happened to me).

Tomatoes & Cucumbers love the same soil & nutrients, so planting them together means they're going to fight for those nutrients. One may fail if you're not feeding them regularly. It's better to plant tomatoes with basil & and cucumbers, either by themselves or with beans. Squash needs its own bed for sure, or if you have a large bed, you can do 1 squash and 1 small pumpkin. But make sure you have a trellis on each side.
@backwoodsbaby972928 күн бұрын
Put a stake there and tie up the squash plant. And prune the bottom leaves off.

It's also a tricky game having a bunch of different stuff in the same bed due to individual water needs. Tomato for example wants lots of water 2-3 times a week it will want to be soaked deeply, especially during fruiting but a lot of other veg don't want to be that wet or that often.

I keep making the "underestimating-my-squash-size-at-full-size" mistake. It will help reduce the real estate to grow some squash varieties (zucchini or summer squash) vertically too.
@Ottawajames28 күн бұрын
Squash, cukes, and zucchini will all climb. Plant them as close to the fence as you can and they'll grow up, instead of just spreading out over everything.
@MihoshiChama28 күн бұрын
Well, CLEARLY you're willing to learn from your mistakes, and that's a great start. You'll learn from experience which plants behave how, and how to train them to do what you want. For now, cherish that squash, so ypu have something to feel good about, and if possible, transplant a tomato, or trellis that cucumber
