Buddy just saved me after 3 hours of struggle just by telling me when to and when not to boost

Wbat about when bots do 2 horizontal attacks, dodge forward and repeat this spam? I dodge to the left but they are immediately just hitting me again with the same attack. I'm trying to practice woth hard bots and they dominate me. Its impossible to land a focus strike cause they have god like parry timing. Also they never throw focus strikes, they always cancel and repeat there combo every time.

I'm 3 years late but is it better to already be using boost before starting the aerial or start using boost at the first jump of the aerial?

Thank you for not just saying “it’s not your teammates who are bad, it’s you” like most of this game’s garbage non-solo-queuing community. Apparently it’s my fault that I can’t be in literally 3 places at once since my teammates often can’t score and miss easy saves that I would never miss. I’m D3 and consistently get teammates that do bronze level shit, meanwhile the other team is a full party with coms who actually plays defense, can score, and doesn’t double/triple commit(and it’s not just one person, they’re actually rotating).

Just saying the reason that the fast aerial is “faster” is because the second empty jump in the air pushes you for the most part backwards (slightly up), therefore giving you more time to reach the ball

So far I started the 2nd week of February. Was bronze for a couple weeks lol… then just a few days ago I hit plat 1 for the first time in 2s and even made it to plat 2 in dropshot. I’m always questioning whether or not I’ve made good progress. There are also time where I feel like there’s nothing more I can improve on; and that my current skill will be as far as I go. I’m at 500+ hours so yea, idk
