The fireman’s carry. I should of used that more in high school.

It's almost always available. Especially at upper weights. People feel safe walking into that underhook.

Arm throw aka Ippon Seoi Nage
@Schwark97kg22 күн бұрын
I've heard people call it a "Drop Seoi" as well.
@tazinguitars22 күн бұрын
@@Schwark97kg valid correction. Drop is the knees touching the ground but in Judo Ippon is like absolute victory many even refer to this variant as the Korean Seoi Nage unfortunately banned for the upcoming Olympics for Judo.

@@tazinguitars That's super interesting. Do you know why it's banned?

@@Schwark97kg sometimes there's no clear cut answer like after the 90's and 00's they removed leg takedowns from Judo to be different from Freestyle wrestling. My guess is that the rate of injury on the shoulder and/or elbow for the one applying and the possible neck or concussive injury is alot to one done to, unlike with a head lock grip in Judo you use the Gi that increases the leverage but no arm cushioning wrapped around the head upon impact like yours which has more of a sag than whip action.

@@tazinguitars I could see how a shoulder could blow out with this throw or a 2 on 1 if you're just cranking in a Gi with no arm. 🤣🤣 That would suck
