Me n my partner recently had a very in-depth conversation that involved the soulmate label actually and this reminds me of that. We both expressed how we don't use that term with the people we love anymore because it symbolizes your relationship with someone being more important than yourself, which is sort of an unhealthy way of thinking because you couldn't be in any remotely good relationship without existing as yourself, therefore YOU matter so much more. Also I'm on the ace spectrum 🫶
