I would have been 24 when Canon Katrina was ordained and well remember the first women clerics entering the full state of Holy Orders alongside men. The current incumbent at my church is female, Rev Gayle Greenway.

It would be good to see women priests wearing their collars in everyday public settings to be witnessing of our faith and acting their calling to serve God. It was sad then male priests dressed in 'day clothes' and stopped bearing witness in public.

I wish the Anglican Church was more accepting of straight Christians

I do wish Evangelical Bishops would not wear catholic robes. The mitre especially. Unheard of before the 50s.

I was a christian for decades. From birth, in fact and for many years. I searched for answers, read the bible 3 times and basically researched my way out of christianity. Any thoughts?

Thanks - I love the Gospel of Matthew - we must be a little careful because some may see the word story as meaning a fictional account of a truth - and might not distinguish the story of a parable with the story of Jesus. So as an example, the Resurrection is an actual physical historical event and not simply a meaningful story.
