PS..I've had RF ablation, like you talked about. It didn't help me at all, but my pain is all mid-spine, so I'm crossing my fingers it helps you. You've gotta keep fighting and seeking care until you find the 1 person in a million that can help you. It's daunting. It took me a decade, but don't lose hope. I know it's easy to do.

Telling you, man. If it ever comes to the point where you would consider driving to Indiana for the best of the best in brain/spine/pain care, I 100% believe 2 of the most caring, compassionate and knowledgeable doctors in that field are here. Both have played a part in changing my life.

I know I'm late to this, but it is something which always amazes me about Doctor Who, and this character specifically, the forward planning. River Song was introduced on 31st May 2008, this reveal of who she is was on 4th June 2011. Three years of forward planning like this in a TV show is pretty much unheard of.

This is why I love KZfaq - I woke up this morning wondering if I could somehow incorporate my snowball mic into my KZfaq recording (which is done on an old Samsung and nothing else) and here's video proof. Awesome, now to order in the cord!

Minor correction: the flesh isn't a "duplicate". It's basically a different body that's remote controlled by the person operating it (knowingly or unknowingly). So it was the real Amy's mind, just not her body. The flesh avatars that became sapient on their own were a different thing, an anomaly created by the plasma storm or whatever it was on that planet. That's not normally how it works, the flesh are normally non-alive remotely piloted bodies.

About twenty years ago my sister began to have debilitating health issues. Each doctor she saw confidently stated they knew what was wrong with her, but she just continued to get worse. She ended up having to use a wheelchair. But eventually, finally, after several years, they figured out what was wrong with her and she began to get better. Looking at her today, you'd never know she'd been through all that. So all I can say is, keep the faith, best wishes, and good luck. 💪

I wish you the best - I suffered terribly with vestibular issues a few years ago. One bout was about 7 weeks long, and I was getting desperate. In my case, a friend was so worried she gave me some special cookies to eat. Was it coincidence, was it the stuff… but it went within 24 hours. It came back a few times over next two years, but each time with lesser effects. I hope the MRI gives you answers. And a solution. Best wishes from England.

Commenting for the algorithm! Although this episode presents a "base under siege" scenario, something we've seen countless times over the years (including during the classic era), it still did enough to keep me interested... and ultimately, left me intrigued.

Thanks for making this video. Really helpful. Me and my partner want to do a reaction series but I want to figure the copyright stuff out first. I used to always think it was 10 minutes, but then I started seeing youtubers showing what looked like 30+ minutes of a movie. Has there been any changes to reaction content or insights you've gained since you uploaded this video that might be useful to people wanting to get into the space??

the real problem is not that the doctor would become the master/mistress. he would be worse, his plans work

I think it depends on all sorts of factors, such as whether videos are monetised, how long the clips are relative to the overall length of the video, what side of bed the algorithms get out of bed that morning... The "system" really is stupid. Nicole had to repeatedly re-edit and re-upload one of her videos over 40 times before it was finally accepted. A few weeks ago one of her videos was taken down three days after it was made public, even though she uploaded it privately a couple of weeks before. Quite a lot of channels have had older videos taken down a long time after they were initially uploaded. I'm glad I don't have a KZfaq channel. The situation will always be complex, due to different copyright laws applying in different territories, but there really is no rhyme nor reason as to what KZfaq objects to, when it objects to it, and how easy it is to get them to recognise the truth of statements made when appealing. And there is next to no transparency in any of it.

@@andrewgwilliam4831 An easy solution would be audio only with the image blurred. Most viewers have already seen the episodes so would have some idea which part is being reacted to.

Until Murray Gold or BBC flags the audio. Audio is not exempt from copyright.

This story is probably the best Davros has ever been written since his introduction in the Classic series. I love how Moffat explores Dalek society and the reinforcement of the fascist state. The cases being built by the Daleks in order to control the population is such a realistic display of fascism, and it’s interesting that the case completely fails to understand Clara’s humanity. In the end Davros gets proven wrong (although I think he is pretty sincere when he talks to the Doctor) and the Doctor’s modus operandi ends up as the answer to the question of whether you kill baby Hitler. Such a great episode.

The daughter is played by Ricki Lake(Mrs. Winterbourne) who John Waters put in his film Hairspray with the mom playing drag queen Divine. The dad Sam Watterson is most famous for an attorney on Law and Order. The brother played Stu in the first Scream and Shaggy in Scooby Doo. The blonde girlfriend of Ricki's ex was played by Traci Lords an ex-adult film star who would do tv and b movies. The boyfriend was supposed to be played by gay adult film star Jeff Stryker but he turned down the role. Kathleen Turner can be seen in Crimes of Passion with Anthony Perkins(Psycho). The woman who wore white shoes after Labor Day was Patty Hearst, an heiress, who was kidnapped in the 1970s and robbed a bank with her captors and was imprisoned. Her daughter is married to the host of the tv show The Wall Chris Hardwick.

I think one of my favorite bits in this episode is when they all hold hands in a circle, and the doctor makes a big deal about having to hold hands with people, and he finally conceits that he WILL do it, but he wants to hold Clara's hand. It's real quick, but that whole rant is so funny.
@joshuathompson24042 ай бұрын
Your comment about your high level of self awareness, do you think that your constant pain has been any kind of catalyst in that? Curious.
@joshuathompson24042 ай бұрын
Because as a chronic pain sufferer, I think we all become very aware of our own bodies, and what exists beyond/separate from that, and how we can, if even slightly, divorce the two in order to get away from the pain.
