You are braver than I. I plan on flying a couple of batteries in Normal mode to get used to the throttle control being not sprung. Then I would go and try manual mode but with the angle limit switch on so that I could get a little used to manual mode without doing flips. Lastly (after gaining some confidence) I would turn off the angle limit and to go full aero mode. But you seem to be braving it out very well.

Man, your reaction to the first attempt in sports mode and turtle mode was hilarious... And I'm certain I would have screwed up the prop replacement, too... I would've tried it in the field though... eh? hahaha Awesome drone, man... You have me more jealous than ever now... Edit: Oh, Kristi said I have a choice... I can either buy an Avata 2 or I can replace the Ac in the camper... lol Dang it!!!!
@JJDrones4 күн бұрын
You got that right my friend, try it in the field. I need to remember that. Oh but e the way this Wednesday I'll show what it's like to go full manual mode... Stay tuned. And I have a solution to the AC, after you're done flying you're new avata just let it hover above you in the trailer! Problem solved! 😂 Thank you so much for your kind comment brother and a lot of love to you and Kristi!

The Avata 2 is smaller, faster, and more maneuverable; just like the enemy MIG.
@JJDrones6 күн бұрын
It's actually a bit longer and wider, but it is faster. The side by side comparison was a bit shocking actually. But I get what you're saying. Just wait until you see the manual mode video

There is a button on the controller to operate the video and photo functions. If you don't already know, don't let bright sunlight hit directly into the goggles, it will ruin the screens.
@JJDrones6 күн бұрын
Thank you Butch Brown, yeah I figured that out at some point, just failed to mention it. I just liked that with the avata 1 it could auto record at launch. As far as the lenses on the goggles, I do know that as well and I'm using the foam provided to protect the lenses, not sure why they didn't have a cover like on the goggles 2? But I'm glad you commented and I hope you'll come back

Information ABF trucking gave me a 28 ft trailer For 4200.usd moved from California to Missouri got the semi trailer on Friday and they said they will pick it up Wednesday which I filled by Saturday and took 3 to 4 hours to unload uhaul wanted much more for the truck plus I would’ve had to buy fuel any one moving long distance support our truckers ABF freight way or trucking Estes also does same
@JJDrones9 күн бұрын
Great idea Robert, didn't even consider abf. It makes sense because they have a lot more units too!
@Robertmacmedia9 күн бұрын
@@JJDrones yes ABF has secured hubs where they will hold your loaded trailer for 1 month or more depending on the situation not sure the cost of storage I found it to be less stressful I highly recommend it for long distance moves compared to uhaul

I used to not be a fan of having the battery on the strap due to it being no replaceable when it dies. But then realized we won't keep this drone as ling as it will take to kill the battery. We will most likely be on Avata 3
