So I was on KZfaq watching another KZfaq channel @WeretheRoberts , and they had an interesting idea that they got from another KZfaq Creator. When he did his test it went basically flawless, and I was thinking, if I could get that same result that would be awesome! Well, if you know anything about my channel, and how things go for me, that was not the case. But you'll have to watch the video to find out. In the end there was some surprising information that I was able to discover, so definitely check this video out, and let me know what you think in the comments!

Dude I thought that was awesome! I can’t believe it clipped those branches and recovered 3 times on the same flight. Amazing. I do think you made the right call on the last RTH flight and stop it as it started coming down on top of the trees like that. I really don’t think you’re missing anything on any setting here man and I don’t think you screwed up at all. It’s just the environment is different than ours was. We had way more foliage and he had no break in the leaves above so he knew he couldn’t go up. Your trees were just too thin. Our first test video on this a few weeks ago I moved the drone too far away from the home point and passed through a clear spot and on his return home flight, both times, as soon as he found that opening to clear skies, up he went. Fortunately we didn’t have any baked branches to get in his way and he made it home. Anyway, awesome test and great results. Thanks for the mention, brother. Now go get warm! Lol. God bless.

Thank you so much, I am definitely going to retry this in the spring but I may lower my RTH altitude to as low as maybe 20 feet? Not sure if I can or not. But I do appreciate the idea, and I hope to have better results in the future! FYI we got 8 inches of snow about an hour after I left my dad's house 😂
