Fairview Park has flooding issues due to the sewers being clogged. also, the pool at the rec center has been shut down for like 3 years and it's not getting fixed because people want the sewers fixed first

I went tp Mayfield high in the 80's. I am gay and all gay people ended up in Lakewood in the 90's. it seemed EVERYONE was gay. There were so many gay owned businesses and gay bars. The whole Clifton strip was gay. I moved to phoenix almost 20 years ago from Lakewood so I do not know how it is now. All my friends at the time moved to Columbus which became the new gay area. I had some great times in Lakewood! Crazy times.

I moved to Cleveland in the early 80’s … lived in Cleveland Heights off Taylor Rd on Desoto for awhile beautiful area right down the street from Severance Mall…very nice especially the Coventry area where they had there shops , restaurants, their annual street fairs etc; big beautiful brick homes a nice peaceful area back then …I’m sure it’s not that way now …

Grew up in Cleveland Heights off S. Taylor & watched them building Severance Center, was in Mansion before knocking it down. It was nice back 60 years with stores going down S.Taylor. Born in 1953, it was a different world back then! Highlights were Coventry, Cain Park & Little Italy!!

Good video, the one issue I have is the comment about the East side being stuck up. I worked for many years at the Great Lakes Mall and I worked at Great Northern Mall. The customers on the east side were much easier to deal with. The West Siders were stuck up and entitled. The irony is that my fellow Mall workers were more friendly on the west side than east. But that could come down to an us vs them mentality.
