bro that humbled me so hard, gonna be honest and use this comment to vent a little, pretty immature to do that in a session comment of a 16 years old guy... I know. I am twenty years old this year and just started college in engeneering, if I don't get a job or some rent in the next year in this area (my dream area) i will need to work on jobs 6 am- 5pm jobs to sustain myself and mother, because my father hate us and its pretty tiring to live with him at the same house... Really really tiring... Well, I studied a lot to be accepted in a free uni on my country, after almost two years i got this, but financial and family problems are still the same, or worsened, my father didn't got happy of me being aceppeted on a uni... It was sad to notice that my problems didn't go away just because I entered in a free school, and for worse or bad, my mother don't want to me leave the school and start to work for we change places, she want me to follow my dream and to enjoy my early years, to build a solid carreer and have a very good life on the future, but its really fucking hard, to continue this path, to still depend on my mother, god sake I am so pathetic... I am studying and well... trying to do my best... And I am venting here because I don't want to... Any people that i am close notice this weak side of mine, so i am just talking this to a bunch of strangers, in a video that got me with so much envy and hit all my insecurities... Holy crap, I did not expect such immense knowledge when I clicked on this video, my journey started like yours, at the same age, with the same kit. But I really had no funding, my parents don't give me any money for anything and I'm too young to legally have a job, so I basically wasted a couple years repurposing the same components doing the same basic things. The most complex thing I created was a Raspberry Pi based smartwatch, with gyroscopic gestures, animations, Real-Time clock, and a crappy image rendering algorithm. I've discontinued the project ever since because I could not gather the components I needed. If I had even a small amount of money to support my projects I would've gotten so much farther, probably not building a car like you, but it was my dream to build those awesome things you built like the solid state tesla coil, the toroidal plasma generator, the Jacobs ladder and so on. I'm super happy for you that you were able to get so far, it was my dream and maybe I'll get my redemption soon but I hope you can make the best out of your skills

I will sub on the condition you make more video, especially ones going through a full build process with you narrating your entire thinking behind why you would use each component. This stuff is so interesting to me but as soon as I saw that diagram my brain exploded, is there a way you could walk a relative noob through each of the different types of processors needed etc and what sort of computation methods they use and why that's better adaptive for you given use would do wonders for my learning.. Seeing practical functions of devices and how to actually code and install them into a complex system stuff, I've done the basics with Arduinos and some Python and C code, feel like that would be a cool step into the big boy leagues of design. Cheers for the vid, you're a smart ahh dude can't wait to see the finished car! I think the biggest killers for EV's today is the cost to produce, maintenance effort and electronics shortages. I was hoping someone would find a way to build them far cheaper and make the batteries easier to remove and reinstall so that people could make their own repairs, providing a more sustainable and accessible ecosystem that they just don't have at the moment.. If you can think of a way to make the battery easily serviceable or replaceable without any specialist knowledge you might be on to a game changer. Good luck mate 👍👍

When I want to put a finger on what’s bugging me about a content creator on social media, I ask myself the following. If this person was my friend and he asked me “Do you wanna know how I built a car at 16?”, what would I think of that friend’s personality. If then he explained all these projects in the exact same manner and voice this person is explaining it, what would I think of them. Would I consider them cocky? Or would I be even better friends with that person after the convo? I would say, in this case, I would consider them cocky and self-obsessed. Like someone who secretly wants to brag in the most nonchalant and casual way possible as to not come off as cocky but to a keen eye actively failing to do so.

Child if this ain’t a instant full ride to whatever college you want, then idk what would be. You taught yourself and already have teaching experience if you go for a phd there will be companies begging to send you grants for innovation
