(This is taken inspo I’m just sharing it :3) Eliza, in the main characters (important roles that are included in both act 1 and 2) Is one of the few that don’t rap. The ones that do, rap fast, burr doesn’t rap as much (because he outlived Hamilton[that’s a theory]), but he does sometimes. Hamilton raps really fast a LOT, and only has a few slow paced songs. Lafayette dies before burr, having quite a few fast paced songs, John having not many songs, but his death song is the slowest (besides the story of tonight and its reprise, which don’t really focus on him) Eliza, has one small rapping part in the Schuyler sisters, and helpless is a bit upbeat and faster than a SLOWWW song, but it’s still pretty slow. That’s because while everyone else is telling their stories throughout the musical, we only learn a lot about her in the last song of the musical. She doesn’t need to rush to tell her story. (This applies to MCS- sorry if some of these aren’t I was really just struggling to find examples-)

I just want to know that this song does a good job of rationalizing the decision to make The Reynolds Pamphlet.
