I hear you, from a different perspective as a visitor for a few weeks considering if I could make it a home, Zanzibar and a few African countries over the years. I've left disheartened, and I know there is good that I can't experience in a few weeks but bwoy, I'm not sure I can do it again. Strength to you, whatever comes. Appreciate the openness 🙏🏾

The folks in ZNZ and also mainland TZ are blinded and led by the foreigners who are blatantly disrespectful to them, pay them pennies, and treat them like 💩 not all, but many. The locals cannot or choose not to open their eyes to the real problem (some of the foreigners) yet divert their attention and nonsense to us (expats) and assume we are the fools. They will run, skip, and hop for them, but question us. As I have said and maintained, the locals in ZNZ are going to get a rude awakening, just like the locals in Jamaica who can't even use their own beach FFS.

Girl your path is not clear is why you are having all these problems. You need a Shaman like me to clear your path. You see TAN CZAR ? It is a very spiritual and sacred place where souls are separated into the afflicted or the resurrected. This is why you have Mount Kilimanjaro with the 3 active volcano crater on it as well as the fresh water lake Victoria. That’s affliction or peace. Some of you expatriates will get to Tanzania and find heavy affliction and some of you will find peace. Hey… so I definitely agree with the language stuff, what I’m saying here thou is that they treat, Zanzibarians and us alike, with no value. There own brother, sister they deal with wicked. When they see me they see them. It’s not that they see a foreigner when they look at me, they see their own and do not give them the same ratings & when they see white, they run, skip and jump and still ask how high … but my Swahili is coming along good, just normal shopping and ting it’s fine .. thanks for your comment 😊

Give them the truth sis! Absolutely correct. I been living in Dar for 4 years. I can not tell you the number of local men that have told me that they loved me on the first day they met me. I am middle aged and they were way too young for me. Like a young kid. I just looked at them like they were crazy. I never took them seriously.
