Would you try 172mph now in a tin can now that you are older? 😮
@JaysFabShop23 күн бұрын
To be honest I look at everything differently now. So I guess no is the answer but also when I’ve re done all my old work and made it a stronger safer car back on a fast long track like spa could be a possibility once or twice but doubtful I guess today.

Wow. Jay you need to sort that rust out under the van it looks terrible, plus callipers look shot.. get under it before it's to late kid otherwise you will regret it. Hopefully it's not to far gone ie welding time.

No mate it’s no where near as bad as it looks on camera. I have one patch to to one the sill from a dent but most of the rest cleans up. I have already started yousee. Thanks though. I have new brakes and calipers all round to fit it’s just time at the min.

@@JaysFabShop yh if it's the same as a moggy 1000 then 3 in 1 oil from a hardware store will do the trick, just top up to the bottom of the filler neck

I had one never have another Vauxhall although it rode nice if I drove in forward an left in first in the morning once engine started I couldn't take out of gear and select reverse so had to turn off so could put in reverse an same if reversed in with foot on clutch an start engine same thing couldn't take out of reverse to select first so had to turn off to select first then when moving I could change gears normally

@@JaysFabShop well the vacuum pipe runs from the dizzy to the carburettor and the dizzy moves to adjust the pressure advance and retard I think it's called been a very long time I've worked on a engine with points but they do stick and clean everything up and the plugs worth a try good luck mate
