With the front oil leak. I doubt it is this but the 1.8 oil coolers like to really creep in on the leaking. And they leak absolutely everywhere. Ngl my 1.8 currently is doing that and its everywhere but the top of the engine.
@cmattdabratКүн бұрын
True. The oil cooler is holding up fine. Definitely got a leak coming from the front because it's dripping where the balancer is, but I'll chase it down.

Absolutely! Will take a little machining on the thrust of the camshafts, otherwise will fit right up but with mechanical valve and buckets.

Curious about how that duration and lift will go on a 1.8 vs the 1.6 it was meant for. But, the chop of a good cam can't be beat! Happy/excited for the progress.
@cmattdabratКүн бұрын
Me too. Shouldn't be too much of a power band difference aside from maybe lowering it a few hundred RPM. The 1.8 is kinda their stroker lol.

I think it's time to put some real tires on it. I know you want to keep it looking stock but the more power you build you know you're going to get wheel slippage

Most cars that are modified today the VVTs are always knocked out. Just too much issues. You're better off

So today I tried to install one of these devices into my chevy (2013 1.4 l, with keyless start/stop) and ran into a problem. I had the display installed and it worked fine when I wanted to start my car it didn´t. The display on the dash says to step on the clutch to start but it won´t and also the rest of electronics, like light in the interior or window lifter, don´t work. Does anyone have tips on what the problem might be? I know this video is old but if anyone could help I was really grateful.

Hello, I bought it from aliexpress and installed it on my cruze. When I installed it it worked fine but when I restarted my car it wouldn't turn on and showed a black screen no matter what I did.. What should i do?
@user-pl7rw9fh2p15 күн бұрын
All of the stock air box is optional. You don't need that hose. The only thing that is necessary is your MAF sensor.
Anyone know how to install using the backup camera you already use?

Where did you get your head studs from?
@cmattdabrat21 күн бұрын
They're ARP head studs from a SRT-4 Dodge Neon. I had to open up the 9mm threads to 10mm and open the cylinder head bolt holes a little so the studs would pass through and give the oil a way to get to the cylinder head. One of the stud holes passes the oil from the block to the cylinder head.
