Titel: Schlechter Kundenservice und unzureichende Leistung: GLO Hyper X2 Heater enttäuscht auf ganzer Linie Als ich mich entschied, den GLO Hyper X2 Heater zu kaufen, hatte ich hohe Erwartungen an ein qualitativ hochwertiges Produkt. Doch diese Erwartungen wurden von Anfang an enttäuscht. Das Gerät erwärmt nicht einmal meine GLO und VEO Sticks richtig - lediglich das obere Drittel wird erhitzt, während der Rest kalt bleibt. Nachdem ich mein Problem dem Kundenservice der British American Tobacco (Germany) GmbH geschildert habe, wurde ich mit einer nahezu standardisierten E-Mails abgespeist, die keinerlei Hilfe boten. Ein darauf folgender Anruf bei der Hotline war ebenso frustrierend wie sinnlos. Über anderthalb Stunden verbrachte ich in der Diskusion und dem telefonat, nur um zu erfahren, dass mein Anliegen offensichtlich nicht von Interesse ist. Die Lösung, die mir seitens des Unternehmens angeboten wurde, war ebenso lächerlich wie beleidigend. Ich sollte den defekten GLO zurücksenden und würde dann nach bis zu drei Wochen einen Gutscheincode für den Onlineshop erhalten und könnte mir dann einen neuen GLO bestellen, aber am desten Donnerstags da ist Portofreie Lieferung. Das bedeutet dann gut 4 Wochen evtl. Länger ohne Heater. Aber was soll ich in der Zwischenzeit tun war dann meine Frage? Soll ich mir Zigaretten kaufen, die mir das Unternehmen eigentlich ablösen möchte? Dieses bejahte die Mitarbeiterin in der Hotline und meinte so ist das dann! Diese Dreistigkeit und Gleichgültigkeit gegenüber den Bedürfnissen der Kunden ist unerhört. Letztendlich habe ich festgestellt, dass es einfacher und problemloser ist, bei herkömmlichen Zigaretten zu bleiben. Der GLO Hyper X2 Heater ist nicht nur ein teures Luxusprodukt, sondern auch ein Symbol für den desinteressierten und inkompetenten Kundenservice von British American Tobacco (Germany) GmbH. Mein Rat an alle potenziellen Käufer: Finger weg von diesem Heater. Es ist eine Verschwendung von Geld und Nerven. Wenn man schon so viel Geld für ein Produkt ausgibt, sollte man zumindest eine angemessene Leistung und Kundenservice erwarten können. Doch beides fehlt hier gänzlich.

my first Glo hyper+ lasted me a year and 13 days because the neosticks started to smell burnt and after a short time it no longer turned on. two months ago I bought the Glo hyper x2 and already now the sticks smell burnt: does anyone know why this happens? thanks for a reply.

Tip for getting the ring of without scratching it too much, I found that the only thing I could vedge in there was a used razor blade and the work my way up with my other tools. Be careful not to cut yourself tough! Probs to JBL for such a perfect fit, but it's a bit of a pain to repair.

maybe too late, but trick is in thermal sensor, thermal paste (or something similar to paste) which the sensor is attached to has dried up and the sensor cannot read the temperature. if you have skill, the paste can be replaced.

Bought my first glo 3 days ago. It wouldn’t charge the next day. Just dead. Bought another one, a newer model. Worked for 2 days until it died and wouldn’t charge. 60 euros down the drain. Stop importing cheap China trash for a quick buck!

Are you serious? Comparing a station with around 70 watts to one with 150? Maybe the difference is between 70W and 120W, but dude, the soldering speed will be different which makes overheating of the pcbs no issue with the 150w station. That’s a world of difference when you use this thing for more than melting 1mm of led based solder

Okay i saw a coment when someone said that throwing it on the floor was working for him. I tried it and the cap where you put neo cigar in fell off and inside is rubber which was very oily and dirty. So i clean it and now it is working perfectly fine.

I would bet that battery has low voltage protection which has disconnected battery. You could charge directly the battery to revive it.

There is no fix. I suspect a faulty battery or a temp sensor. The replacement I've recieved work just fine so I think they know that the first batch are faulty.

Iqos has plastic tubes that melt when you smoke and you inhale the toxic fumes. Open a cigarette and see for yourself

Same problem brand new out of box. Bought from the airport and it doesn't work. It just burns the middle of the tobacco stick. What a waste of £50 pounds and £20 pounds for the neo sticks...which I can't use without the glo hyper x2 not working.

They are giving it away for free of you buy two packs of sticks here. I think that they are just trying to pass all the defective stock to the users. I've contacted them for a replacement, sent proof and stuff and never heard back...

I've got both replaced after sending an email with a video to customer support. They didn't even asked for a receipt. So basically they know the devices are garbage, or at least one batch. The new devices work perfectly. One strange thing is that the new devices have some factory sticker on them that I've never seen on the other ones. I think they ware refurbished...

Thank you for the VIDEO!. Something that worked for me, was: 1-Remove the RING of the left side. 2-Remove the Phillips screws. 3-Partially move out the cover to see the battery and remove it (without the need for the German triangle weird screwdriver) 4-Test the battery (it was working!, if not, you can buy another one) 5-Reconnect the battery. And the headphones came back to life.

@@Jehoov3r unfortunately not (yet). My plan for the future is, that I buy an other battery type wit similar capacity and two cables, and try to solder the connector. But in my case, I had luck: a short circuit on the two soldering points has resetted the electronics, and afterwards I can use my headphones again.

Cable on the left side ist broken. My battery ist okay. If you are from Germany you can have it. You can’t change the cable and therefore I will scrap the whole headphones 🫤
