Weller WE1010 vs Weller WT1H solder station short review

I personally love Weller products, i'm using a old analog one for about 20 years. I see no useful difference between the two except if you need logging or stuff like that. Of course WT1H heats up really fast but it's also double the price so the logical pick will be WE1010 for hobby and semi-pro use.
I will also take the two apart to check the components inside and see if maybe there is a reason for the price other than the power.

Are you serious? Comparing a station with around 70 watts to one with 150? Maybe the difference is between 70W and 120W, but dude, the soldering speed will be different which makes overheating of the pcbs no issue with the 150w station. That’s a world of difference when you use this thing for more than melting 1mm of led based solder

No spare parts for the WE1010 Station! is the reply i receive from Weller. From a company who sell tools for repair is inadmissible , let this old company gone like water of toilet .

I totally agree! It's one of the best brands out there. I have one that is 20y old. As for repair it shouldn't be that hard to fix it if you don't need the plastic parts.

What the heck did you do to your soldering station? Also, you are looking at their economy line (WE). In my cases the contact with their support has always been exeptional to say the least.
