Just wondering, do you have any better alternative to the butyrate tubing?

This is Awesome, what do you use for reference while designing the small and intricate details?

Duuuuude this is exactly what I’m trying to build. I’m not a computer guy like you. I built something like this not close to what I want with a Lionel train and hardware store parts. What you have is what I want. I want to put boat hulls instead of a ride. I have the hulls. If you could build a 40x70x12 track at a smaller scale I’d pay you but your design for the track is exactly what I need. Thank you. I’ve been searching high and low and here it is. Thanks Charles

When you import all the individual track spine data, is there a way to automate the modeling process or does each segment have to be modeled by hand?

This is the shittiest model I’ve ever worked with. The cutouts aren’t precise in the slightest, the wood chips easily, the thing falls apart after a slight nudge, the instructions are awful, and it’s 40 dollars. Do NOT buy this kit ever

Hey, hope somebody sees this considering this video is 4 years old. When i try to import the track data into solidworks, i get an error message saying something like: "At least two adjacent points are too identical or too close from one another." I have tried to increase the distance btwn points to 1.1 but nothing changes. Any help ?

Great Video. I'm actually going to build an RMC style coaster in my backyard. I noticed that you mentioned using the "surface flatten" command, but it is grayed out. Is there a particular reason for that?

You will need to have Solidworks Premium for that feature.
