11:28 Why did they add an amber light bar to the car? I mean, Max Interceptor has a blue flashing light behind the windscreen. This ruins the whole scene. And I know it's just a commercial, but why make the effort to aquire and show the car at all if it's changed in that way?

So basically what you meant by Future Mad max movie spoiler is the appearance of Dr Dementus who appears in Furiosa and lot of Things match the Game Fury road and Furiosa.
@elennapointer7016 күн бұрын
The version I've heard re the movies is that they're post-apocalypse folk tales shared among the survivors and so continuity doesn't actually matter. Neat dodge if true.

Coming back from Furiosa, it's hard to tell when it takes place. When we see Max and the Fury we immediatly notice it has its front bumper/armour, which it lost in Mad Max 2 and wasn't seen in the comic or even the game, also a single rear tank when the Road Warrior car had two. If the car in the 2024 film is the same one in this picture then Furiosa takes place either BEFORE The Road Warrior (before getting the second tank)or not long AFTER Beyond Thunderdome where he would've rebuilt his ride (and got another/fixed the front fascia).

An update: Dementus prominatly features in Furiosa as its villain; he was breefly mentioned in the 2015 Mad Max game, additionally a scene that would eventually be used in the film can be seen in the level Dementus' Tomb. There's also a reference to Dinki-Di when he calls Furiosa his daughter. In the 'History of Dog' video it's mentioned Dog was originally going to be three-legged, a la Max and his leg brace, and named Trike, it was abandoned for fears volunteers would cut off their dogs' legs; In 2024's Furiosa a dog with a CG prostetic leg can be spotted when the Kenworth enters the Bullet Farm. IT'S TRIKE, making his -sort of- debut. Remember GiggleHorse from "vs REALITY" video? A vehicle with a similar premise(pre-war Chevy body on a chassis) appears in Furiosa, Cranky Black, itself using the Tatra War Rig's second hood scoop.

Furiosa was a great movie, George Miller's storytelling has evolved to such a high level of creativity and I can't wait to see what he does with "The Wasteland" prequel. Furiosa has soooo many easter eggs and interesting tidbits for the diehard fans who crave that sort of thing, it's one of those movies that has a delayed impact on the viewer because it does take a little bit of research to understand exactly how it fits into the timeline, but the film basically turns Fury Road into the Rise & Fall of Immortan Joe, where we see Max and Furiosa simply trying to cope with life while these tyrants battle for dominance in the background.

The Fury Road interceptor is my favorite Interceptor iteration in the franchise. I wish I had it
@joeallen-xo1fs10 күн бұрын
Honestly, aside from the visuals and the big practical action sequences I thought Fury Road lacked any sense of depth and was pretty mediocre overall. Destroying the interceptor in the first minute was just stupid. The whole "subverting viewers expectations" trope is probably the stupidest trend in modern films. Just a pretentious way to say the movie sucks

Surprised that you never mentioned the Mad Max game, because it follows the broad strokes of what the TV series was going to do. You spend your time collecting parts and building up your car by trade or raid. It's also an incredible game outright, a reskinning and retooling of the excellent Shadow of Mordor games. Excellent combat, good story, amazing driving, and enough customization to make a Armored Core fan blush.

A mate of mine made a short film a while back and he said they rented the mad max car and shot it in Broken Hill. Said it was just sitting in some guy's shed. I wonder if it's one of the versions mentioned in this video? I will link the video. The nice thing is that he and his brother made these absolutely nutty movies for fun, just out of their own pocket. They got better at it:) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n9GWnbx5m67LinU.htmlsi=pJlWkiLbY9rzvT-k

@@MadMaxBiblefor a franchise that has such loose continuity, Furiosa, The Game and Fury Road have more tightly packed continuity than it does with the original 3 movies. Even more than the original 3 movies even have with themselves. And with the release of Furiosa, Miller himself even views the game as canon.

I’m sorry if this has been brought up. I just found this video and channel. But one thing that has bothered me about Fury Road is that Max refer’s himself as an “Ex-Cop.” Cop, comes from the term ‘copper’ which refers to Britain’s police carrying copper badges. In Mad Max, they are called ‘The Bronze’ because they carry bronze badges. Max in Fury Road should have called himself ex-bronze. Small detail. Thanks for reading

Sorry but this is terribly frustrating, and it is Millers fault 100%. He had great ideas but no concept of continuity. Trying to put the scatter brain concepts together when he is driving this thing in the moment by the seat of his pants, is pointless. Accept that he is rebooting ideas and rehashing concepts as time goes along in our real world. To spell it out clearly, there are implications in the first two films, regardless of what the heck Miller ever says after the fact. These things are based on logic and what we actually see on the screen. 1. TV guide always claimed Mad Max 1 is POST APOCALYPTIC. This could very well be the fault of Road Warrior intro. Either way it WORKS. Australia did not have major strike targets by USA or USSR, so society could hang onto there. 2. Road warrior intro states Fing clear as a bell…the world was once powered by black fuel. It stopped. Why? It is explained immediately TWO mighty warrior tribes, engulfs THEM ALL. Some Middle East scuffle would never in any universe be THAT thing. It certainly would not affect “the black fuel” which can be found all over the planet. So that backward thought process is a huge fallacy whether Miller or Hayes is at fault it doesn’t matter, both idiots if that is the case. At the time there WERE two warrior tribe that engage and cause a global collapse of supply chains. It is OBVIOUS. What fallows (Thunderdome details) is perfectly logical and as always had been the implication to anyone with a brain at the time. Things changed after 1989, and now we have this “uh duh, well, um, what nuclear war might have happened???DUH!!!” This is really really really poor story writing/world building. You don’t get to go back ward and take back what the feral kid implies in the narrative, and what follows to its Thunderdome sequel. Sorry. REBOOT is all you can do. You can’t fix it, stop trying. 3. Walker et al, makes zero sense if you don’t consider a pre-Mad Max 1 nuclear exchange followed by societal collapse. NOTHING makes sense otherwise. Stop trying to rationalize it. Feral kids just happened to forget what happened a few years ago? Max is 80 years old but looks 30? Tons of discrepancy not worth the efforts. I was a little 8 years old kid and in 1985 what had happened was a no never mind. After 1990 the entire story makes no sense anymore. Let it go. The world changed. Water, that was the best Idea miller had and the movie deserved to be made. But it is a reboot plain and simple./
