I love Vincent Van Gogh, but the narrator pronounces the artist's name wrong throughout the entire video. Hard to watch/listen to.

Beautiful, Sarah! I'm learning how to use water mixable oils from your book. Love your work ( especially your watercolours), and of course, your work on the incredible film, "Loving Vincent"! 🤩💚💙

The journalist chose only native English speakers. So easy but you almost forgotten it is a Polish-Greek film with International painters on crew.

So they basically created stop motion but instead of using the same clay figures moving little by little, they recreate the entire goddamn image for the sake of a minuscule movement. My god I can’t even imagine how tedious this must’ve been, kudos!

She could've made herself cry... lol... Would she have cut off her own ear too? What a fraud and coward, riding on the back of greatness enduring endless rejection. I bet that woman never had a really hard time in her life. I am glad for the tribute...but too little too late. We now look at tragedies as ways to make money or ways to insert self-worth. Just be better people. This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you, Vincent.

The only thing I would have done differently is I would have gotten that guy in the black to play vincent just because his likeness is closer, but the film is PHENOMENAL. The originality of the storyline in relation to the story "we all know," the fact that it was painted the way it was, the way it let us see a different perspective, the way they deviated from history to work in the paintings...they were able to do successfully what artists do. They show us, through their eyes, what the subject means to them by stealing something that already exists and making it theirs.

Easily one of my favorite movies... As soon as I started watching it I realized how much work had gone into it - from casting, to painting scenes - actual visual bliss, by the way - to the credit scene with that sweet cover song that just makes you drown yourself in tears 😭

I love the film Coco and think that it deserves the Oscar. I've never seen or knew about this movie until now and think that it's a boring film that's why it probably didn't won. I thought they just shoot the footage and put a filter for this to look like a painting. But knowing how it is actually done, like every frame is literally a painting, I totally get why people are being upset for the movie not being acknowledge well by Oscar's.

Van Gogh most likely had severe depression as he didn't appear socially awkward. He definitely was great artist, but his technique didn't make him great.
