The blue of the door goes with the blue of the street sign on the facade. Not all the homes in the street will have such a sign. Looked up the Fen Shui for blue doors; blue supports growth and new beginnings and dark blue can help support an intention to deepen your skillfulness. 📘

Ed, the time is coming that you will always need your glasses for close work. A small bag (cross body?) is useful for keeping them with you with hands free and no risk of losing them out of your pocket. A spare pair in case of accidents means you don't have down time waiting for replacement. 😮

How secure are the "street level" windows? Although beautiful... I would be concerned of future invasions...

I like the blue door as well, the windows look fantastic, can`t wait to see the stone work complete on the outside. I am in the states so I just dont understand the giant door, where you have to cut the upstairs floor to open it, doesn`t make much sense to me. That massive door is gonna need 50 hinges to hold it up, the place is looking great guys, be well.

I’m puzzled about windows in France. None seem to have any screens. In Michigan, if we open our windows without having screens our homes would be filled with insects. Do you not have that problem in france?
