Bear’s customer service is the absolute best, I needed new limbs for my bow and got them to my closest dealer in 2 days from me calling them, I wish I had 1,000$ I would absolutely buy the persist. I will never shoot anything but a bear.

Thanks for the tour. It would have been even better from the perspective of a traditional shooter, you know the essence of bear archery. Just glossing over the traditional bows seemed like an injustice to his legacy.

Will get more next time. Wanted to share this. Focus on traditional is ~11-15 minutes. Agree a lot of legacy with Fred Bear in traditional, and I love shooting my takedown and also my grizzly. Thanks for your comment!

Ive always enjoyed walking around a little place here in Indiana that always had 3D targets out for practicing different shoot scenarios, I was just curious ive seen a couple of your videos and have noticed that you are pretty partial to Bear Archery, i just recently purchased my first Bear bow the new Execute 32 and I was curious to rather or not if you had any issues with there factory strings , stretching to the point of messing with your peep rotate, or bow timing, I haven't had the opportunity to get mine out and out some arrows through it do to my work schedule but had heard some negative things about there factory, I m trying to decide if I should just go ahead and put custom strings on it or shoot the factory strings, what do you think anyway keep doing what you're doing and enjoy yourself while you're doing, have fun and thanks

Riser is approx 29" at it's longest point. I am planning to get the Execute 32. However, just shot 2 different 3D courses on Sunday with the Refine, and it performed flawlessly out to 110 yards. Really enjoying this bow from hunting, backyard, and 3D.

As much as I’d like to get a refine or the execute 32 I’m leaning twords a resurgence ld for the smooth single cam the only reason I haven’t already got 1 is I’m not a huge fan of the shop that carries them . I’ve got a vxr 31.5 which is a great bow but the draw cycle is starting to bother me

I was at the Bear factory this week. We were just passing through town. I really wanted to do the factory tour. The guy in the pro shop said the had stopped doing public tours over 20 years ago. They stopped after selling the Bear museum to Bass Pro. I did pickup a really nice Bear Kodiak take down riser. Thank for posting.

I hadn’t been around archery for several years now . I had thought Bear Archery except the traditional equipment was made in China . Good to know it’s made in the USA. I was a Fred Bear fan but not always a fan of the compounds. They just weren’t up to the quality or performance standards of other companies. But I started shooting in this industry in 1972 . I know many people are older and shooting longer that love the bear compound products. When Bear Archery brought in Tom Jennings I started liking the Bear compound Bows . I have always wanted the Fred Bear takedown recurve . Watched him hunt with it as a kid and loved the design. Coolest takedown ever

BEAR's high-end compound bow dont get enough appreciation. I shot a Divergent EKO with a React Trio Pro for a couple years (actually I have all the same parts as you do on the bow but put a Dual Trac sight on it recently) and still have it and love it. Great bow and if I weren't shooting a Mathews this year I'd be looking at their new flagship 33' bows. IMO BEAR gives you SO much bow for the money and I notice that other bow makers are copying things Bear has done for a few years now like the riser mounted level and the EKO type cam with the changing cable path to prevent lean. Great review, thanks for sharing.

I am actually shopping for my second bow now and had the status as my top pick. You mentioned the vibration reduction that was new for 2021, do you notice much of a difference? I am torn between the refine and the status but have no experience with either and no pro shops locally. any input would be much appreciate. I am currently hunting with a resurgence which doesn't feature the EKO cams.
@RedArrowAddiction
@RedArrowAddiction 2 жыл бұрын
The VRS (Vibration Reduction System) was introduced in 2021 with the Redemption EKO. In shooting my 2020 Status EKO vs the 2021 Redemption EKO, there is a reduced amount of felt recoil. In 2022, this VRS with further improved with even more reduced felt recoil, as observed in the Refine EKO. I have very much enjoyed shooting and hunting with the Status and Redemption over the last few years, and am looking forward to checking out the Refine. Please let me know what other questions you have. Look forward to hearing what you learn and your experiences. Thanks!
