Youre not accomplishing anything with that. That would take all day when a good sprnkler would take 15 minutes. Im a professional horticulturist and oandscape contractor and farmer. Thats a waste of money.
@DIYwithCam

Lol, you may be a professional, but that doesn't mean you know what you're talking about. Have you ever used the done of these sprinklers? Did you know you can set the exact amount of water you want to pit down per week. Oh, what about overspray? No wasted water here as you map out exactly where you want to water. I would highly recommend testing the sprinkler out before knocking it. If you are a professional, I'm sure you can reach out to them for a sample so that your audience can see it in action. People can spend their money on what they want, I'm sure we could point out everything that you have wasted money on.

How do you put the red knob back on.. I’ve been trying to put more string in before I saw this video and ended up hitting off the red knob.. thanks in advance

you will need to press the 2 clips in on the base and remove it, slot the red knob back in and install the base back on with the red knob in place.

It has a bump feed, so it will release more string when you bump it.

I bought and use this. My experience, even after just a couple weeks without washing, when I use this, it hasn't worked all that great. I spray this on, then 4 or 5 min later, I foam spray, then I use 2 bucket method and still see some bug guts on the car after...even after lightly wiping with a microfiber mitt. Was hoping it would work better, but I haven't tried much else.
@DIYwithCam
@DIYwithCam 4 күн бұрын
Have you tried pressure washing this w8 v2 off before the foam spray? This works well on both my cars, even after a few months of not using them, and there were a ton of bugs. It definitely works better on glossy paint, as my wife's car only needs one application, but sometimes mine needs 2.

@selwyn13 12 күн бұрын
U can fix that by cutting a plastic sheet to shape after removing the wheels, glueing it to the back w/ a heavy duty adhesive, placing something relatively heavy on top of it, then finally Mount it back on after letting it cure.
@DIYwithCam

I like it, or just buy a better spreader. The little plastic wheels aren't great for bumper lawns.

Sorry I don't mean to sound rude I'm just pissed. This is probably the best battery operated weed eater I've ever had however I've gone through three of them now because the head will not twist off and using tools only destroys it.
@DIYwithCam
@DIYwithCam 14 күн бұрын
Totally get that it sucks. This thing has been used for years now, and there is no issue with the bump feed welding shut. The green nob is getting hard to turn when rewinding as it's all scuffed up. It also doesn't get any easier to remove ans replace the head.
@ArchGBUStanton
@ArchGBUStanton 14 күн бұрын
Yeah but as everybody knows if you use the bumpfeed more than three times it basically welded SHUT!!!, it's impossible to twist. How about giving a video about getting this damn thing to come off but not using a brand new, easy to turn, head.😅
@DIYwithCam
@DIYwithCam 11 күн бұрын
this wasn't a brand new head and has been used and abused. It's a terrible design that Ryobi should be ashamed with.

make sure you try and straighten the line as much as possible. You may need to wiggle the line a little to get it through, but it typically goes through with very few issues. If this doesn't work, try turning the ump feed rewind 180 degrees and try again and make sure you have the correct size string.
