Just so you know they are not really brothers it was just their name they were performing in the South and some guy afterward yelled out that was righteous brother and that's how they got the name they are not related.

This song killed him . He said nothing can ever be as beautiful behind the the show. Not sure of the words he used. People like to lie . But it's his last live performance apparently. He was my best friend. Same problems. Heroine and stomach problems. Given away as a kid too. He was a wonderful person . I'm 41 now . Heard Bleach and my favourite song was paper cuts as a 7 or 8 year old. Thats some way to wonderfully destroying song for a kid that young. Light a candle for him on his birthday every year. Rest up my beautiful friend. No more pain

This band not only was a pioneer in the prog rock scene, it had among the greats in their instrumentation in every member of the band. Jon Anderson's vocals are one of a kind, Steve Howe is one of the greatest guitarist, Chris Squire ("the fish") is a genius on bass (arguably the best ever - check out his solo album - Fish out of Water) and Rick Wakeman is an all time great on keyboards. I was a teen ager to my early 20's when this music came out and I loved it all!! It was right in the mix with ELP.

This was the final song (before the encore) during their 1994 Division Bell tour (which I was lucky enough to see in Atlanta). This was the culmination of a two-hour journey with THIS song, with THESE visuals, with THAT crowd - it was THE greatest concert moment of my life.

I`m sorry but I could only watch this for a little over two minutes because the fabulous video was shown in mirror image, that is to say Jimmy Page was apparently playing a left hand guitar, Jason Bonham was playing drums left handed, John Paul Jones was playing keyboards with the high notes on the left etc. Having watched that performance hundreds of times, I found it impossible to watch it `back to front`.

The analogue-sampled, keyboard-played flute of the venerable synth, Mellotron, had a strangely gorgeous sound to it and was heavily used in Progressive Rock. Look to The Beatles intro to "Strawberry Fields Forever" and into "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. ---OronOfMontreal

The flute in Rock music was played to strong emotional effect by Peter Gabriel in his early-70s days as lead singer of Genesis, and the flute was wielded as a weapon by Ian Anderson, lead singer of Jethro Tull. ---OronOfMontreal

My first big concert when I was 13 and it was transcendent!
Billy Joel has said he was inspired by Freddie from Queen. And they always play a Queen song before, during, or after the show.
