I do not know the actual math on whether the JP or US version of this game is "better" or not, but I will say the JP on looks more interesting to play than the US one. I have gotten to play the US one at my local round 1 and comparing it to your video on the JP one, there is just a lot more going on in the JP one, more lights and sounds which make these games fun, the US one felt a little boring compared to even Marble Carnival. Better music and cuter characters than Marble Carnival though

Castlevania was the first game series I fell in love with! I enjoyed watching you play it as a marble game.

That is honestly the best Konami pusher outside of Japan, it looks so crazy yet fun! *Also, fun fact:* I think you guys have been played Fortune Trinity 4 (Celebration of the Miracle Treasure) in Japan before, you might found that the characters in this game look familar to you... and that because all characters in Gold Railroad is originally from Fortune Trinity 4! I definitely recognized Sunny, the Orb-kun (that winged pink ball character), and the bosses in this game are straight up from the Jackpots lol (If you really pay attention!)

10:12 I like this change to the game as well. The cards by themselves are worth 50 tickets I believe? By putting in two of the 4 and 7 cards gives you 300 tickets a bonus of 100 tickets plus a part of the story mode. I like this because it gives you a reason to get rid of your rare cards instead of holding onto them.

Since they have multiple machines it would have been cool if they had left one as Marble Carnival and redid the others for those who liked the way it was. It's a fun game either way and by re-theming the game it potentially draws in new players or gets former players back who had grown tired of the original theming. It was nice to see new videos from you in my feed. I have always enjoyed your coin pusher and other game videos.

I can’t wait for my Round 1 to re-skin this. I’m told it’s happening this upcoming Monday, and it takes a crew of 2 people 10 hours to do so because of all the changes in the art etc.. The cards and story type ways you can use the cards are also very exciting to look forward to.

ayooo they have this game at one of the Round 1s I've visited (Eastridge Mall), I had such a blast with this one after I tried it last night, and I managed to get the rare card and complete the set! I especially love how all of the cards put together make a nice little graphic on the back too like how they did it with Smash Stadium here in the US, it's a really nice touch and helps motivate me to get a full set at least once just to see the back graphic. Sadly the Castlevania one doesn't have the same effect but it makes up for it by having the whole multiple endings gimmick, really puts all of those dupe cards in handy :o

Also some tips: 1. The goal is to get to the bosses asap. You do this by spinning the wheel to advance and land on the 4 corners. That's 10 board spaces to reach each boss. The numbers on the wheel (the one that comes up with an orange ball drops) represent how many spaces you move. The trick is if you just finished a boss stage, you want to roll a big number. At least a 4. That way, on your very next spin, you can roll to the boss (6 spots on the wheel means a 4 gets you far enough to be able to just hit 6 to go right to the boss) 2. Once at the boss, your first target should be the gold bars. This is the biggest reward so it makes sense to just clear it first if you can. 3. "Just press it" is bad advice... lol sorry. There *is* some math to it, and you basically figured it out. On the machine I play, simply pressing the button on the thing I want it to land on is usually about an 80% chance of having it happen. While you can't 100% figure out the timing, it's still a good idea to get a feel for the machine and the average time it takes for the ball to stop. With that, you can narrow it down quite a bit and generally should hit what you want most of the time. Also she says "it's too risky to try and calculate it, just press it" which I found funny because pressing it completely randomly is WAY riskier to me lol 4. The rarest card is the 10th one (The Gold Railroad) I still haven't managed to get one, though I only played it for an hour or two in total. I love this game, btw. On 5 swipes with a good run you can play for a LONG time, which makes this game have the most value out of almost any other pusher game at Round 1. If you can manage to beat the boss stages you get so many tokens/shots that it can carry you literally to the next boss stage and in theory you could play forever on 5 swipes... Though obviously since it's not possible to 100% stop the wheel where you want it every time, that is very unlikely to happen.

Played this one last time I visited Round 1 and I somehow managed to clear every single spot in the boss room and it dropped 15 cards and I got a ton of shots from it lol. I have yet to pull it off again but it was pretty nuts that I didn't even really know what I was doing but hit every spot to clear it. It was definitely a nice way to set up the playfield for my session! One downside to this game... at least at my location. The gold railroad card is very rare. I got like 30 cards but no gold railroad so can't complete the set. I know there's always like one rare card in every card set but this one felt more rare than other games. Maybe I was just unlucky. I'll have to see when I play again in the future.

I'm sure you will figure it out by the end, but the number correlates with how many steps on the board. Bonus comes up when you are with a certain number of steps because you have to land exactly. So say you have 7 steps until the end of the line a bonus won't show up, the you get a 3 next, bonus will show up on 4 the next time. From what I have seen.
