Question around dehydration in surgeons - is it possible for a surgeon to use a device like a camelback or something that permits easily accessible water but also could be made fairly sterile? I know nothing about medicine, I just hate to think these critical folks are suffering while performing their surgeries

You can’t infer vagus nerve stimulation studies to the pulsetto device, which has a different operating system then whatever is used in the study. You would have to use the pulssetto device in those clinical trials, which to my knowledge has never been done. you would also have prove that device works to stimulate the vagus nerve. I have looked at the companies website and there’s no evidence that this device stimulates the vagus nerve. It has no FDA approval in the United States for any medical claims made. In fact, this is being marketed I’ll legally to treat anxiety, insomnia, and head pain and pain in the USA. We can only hope the device works.

Awesome, well stated. The focus is not on patient care or even clinical staff, the focus is on big large equity buyouts, their focus is profit, at the risk of clinical staff who have "lost their soul" since the buyouts, doctors who are shells of their old self, tremendous pressure, and also those doctors who are happy with the buyouts. Patients have lost their humanity in the healthcare industry. It is not about the Social Determinants of Health, it is about herd them in and herd them in, less than 5 minutes if possible.

All of these videos are of armwrestling wrong, armwrestling does have injury’s but these are arm breaks from people who don’t know what there doing, most of these people are putting themselves on a position literally called armbreak position, in armwrestling your taught to not pull in bad position, doc is right but he’s really only talking about arm break position, know the sport and u don’t get hurt

I know this video is 4 years old but I’ve only just found it. I am a gcse student who wants to become a surgeon (either trauma or general) and you are a huge inspiration. This video shows my goal and how hard it is to reach it, and I have so much respect for you and all other surgeons who work so hard for this job. ❤️

I have GAD and I noticed an improvement after one 6-minute session. I am astounded. If you don't have GAD, you probably won't notice anything. I didn't find the 6 minutes super pleasant but the effectiveness absolutely blows me away. Don't get this if you don't suffer from anxiety, but this is a game changer for me.

Have been working on the hospital ward for a week and I'm already questioning my decision. There is lack of enthusiasm in colleagues and it seems like a very stressful environment to work in and not so much appreciation and the level of abuse one gets from patients is shocking.Inhave also been told on day 1 they are mainstream a**** so not sure if I actually want to work in there...
