first of all, i just wanna say that OMG FINALLY THE VIDEOSSS!!!!! second of all, Joy... i'm such a big fan of you and of the amazing person human being that you are. seriously. i'm so so grateful for OTH right now (i'm currently on season 8) because i feel related in some ways that no other TV show made me reflect, laugh, think, cry and see myself (specifically about Haley. she's the character that i see ME, you know?) i couldn't never say thank you enough for you guys and for everyone who made this show! lots of love from Brazil to y'all 💗

I think out of the children that succeeded the most is definitely Mouth out of the adults it's definitely Karen. But the ones who changed the most in the show is Nathan and Brooke. They way they started to the way they ended their whole personality changed and they grew so much. As for the adults it would def be Dan.

I feel so seen by Hilarie and what she said about the eldest child and touch. I was actually just talking about it with my fiancé because he was playing with my hair and no one had ever done that before him. And it just reminded me that I remember many weekends my mom taking the time to braid both of my little sister's hair (they're both 8 and 12 years younger than me). It just broke my heart realizing that that just ended one day when I was 8 years old. And now I'm not big on physical touch, I make an effort for my fiancé but not really with my mom. And she'll get hurt when she wants a snuggle together when I was in my late teens and even now as an adult, and I found a way to live without it for so long and now that yearning is just gone. And she doesn't get it and it made me feel crazy but Hilarie (as a fellow Cancer) just made me feel super validated. <3

Being in Australia, and after watching lots of shows with themes like this and watching the bowling for columbine documentary and seeing the impacts of guns in America it terrifies me. In Australia we have to apply for a licence and do tests and police checks. I mean sure there will most likely always be those people that set out to do something and can get ahold of one but here its far less likely to happen. We banned guns in 1996 following our first real mass incident and I believe that was incredibly helpful. It's sad the people in power post columbine and so so many other possibly preventable incidents have happened. I think perhaps people carry because other people do and they don't want to feel without but that doesn't solve the problems or kids and people being able to access them. It seems so backwards and I agree with you guys why is there no change after all this? Why is it so easy over there to access it?? Jimmy's side of it was also scary to see what roles bullying and mental health can play towards these things too. Sometimes it's just a sad kid wanting to feel better but it shouldn't get to that point. It takes away all the innocence of being a kid. Kids shouldn't have to worry about metal detectors and things they should be worried about their classes and friends and weekends and life ahead.

Wish they would have talked about how Laura Palmer was the “Brooke Davis” of her high school

When I saw those scenes I thought, "Oh no Brooke, what did you do. Pease tell me you didn't." I was close to tears. I really thought Brooke betrayed Peyton.

Always a sad episode but it’s one of the best. I’ve never skipped it. All 4 of them (along with the rest of the cast) gave stellar performances in this episode.

I always think this and the Degrassi episodes leading to that school shooting need to be played in schools. I've felt this since I was a teen myself. Also, I WAS the kid people in schools thought that just because I'm bullied, because I didn't look happy all the time, because I was a loner, kids in both my high schools spread rumors about me being the one who will bring a gun to school and some only pretended to be nice to me in the hallways just so they didn't "die". As someone who also lived in a post-9/11 world, I felt I could never escape the image that anyone who looked like me, we were always going to be terrorists, we had no future and for 5 years after high school, my life did stop.

While yes gun violence is a problem in America, since we’re now In 2024, I recommend everyone watch ‘under the bridge’. This was pre school Shootings. It’s not the guns.

I disagree about putting it on the parents. Look up The reena virk case. Kids gonna do what kids gonna do.

I remember fighting with so many people about this episode because I have depression and while I would never do what he did, I understood why he did it. I’m disabled and was bullied in middle school. Can’t lie, wish I would have done this to my bullies for what they did to me. I remember there was so much fighting about ‘whose fault it was’ and I do agree Lucas and mouth may have left Jimmy behind and should have checked on him before but no one can really decide whose fault it is or is it anyone’s fault?

My mother experienced the worst tragedy she lost her nephews of one year and 5 months in a car accident and in 2009 she had to go to my grandmother's house to get her brother who had committed suicide his summer of difficult periods but my worst mourning was my father who died of stomach cancer the pain is still present but I'm moving forward😢
