This video is a year old and I am just watching it. I wish someone would make all the quilt of valor videos in one channel. What a beautiful piece of content. I love that Mark received a quilt. I cried watching all the service men and women receiving their quilts. I am moved with such gratitude for everyone who has had the courage to enlist and serve. Each one needs to receive a quilt and the honor and appreciation that comes from being gifted a quilt. Thank you for showing me what a quilt of valor is. Hugs ~Martha

This pattern assumes you are proficient with foundation paper piecing. No instructions for beginners. I can’t find any videos on using this pattern. It’s gorgeous. And I have a sister who is coaching me via text message

Great video- nice to see you using a domestic machine to quilt a larger piece. Nice job! I’m still learning- but like you and everyone else keeps saying - practice, practice, practice! And it really does get easier!

Never wind bobbins that still have thread in them. That will throw off your thread tension and could cause other problems with your sewing machine.

Yes! More FMQ, please! It's wonderful to see an artist at work and hear your process. I've been working on table runners, doing edge-to-edge meander and loops. But you've given me the confidence to push myself to do a real quilt. Thank you!
