Thank you! I bought a condo recently and it has one of these washers. I've been scouring the internet for answers on how to take it apart so I can clean it and Google's AI search has basically destroyed the ability to find factual or pertinent information. I saw dozens of AI-generated 'help' videos that were instructions for a completely different washer. I talked to a help-bot on a washer repair site that also used the same completely different washer instructions. NOW I can finally get this thing apart without any extra unneeded steps (I would have taken off extra screws from the back for sure.

most mechanics recommend to pre-fill the old filter so there is not a time with no oil being pumped in the car.

Thanks for the video. After fixing the air gap backup, I ran the rinse cycle and noticed a foamy water solution at the bottom of the dishwasher. Do you know if this is normal?

Amazing! I am baffled. Haha. We just found ours following this tutorial. I feel like we just discovered a special ancient text not meant for my plebeian eyes. Sadly, it doesn't have what I was looking for in it, but getting to this point was half the battle. Thank you!

Holy smokes I just found so much crud clogging up my air gap! I was able to pluck it out and I'm hopeful that's the end of my clogging issue for now 😅

When removing and installing screws I suggest using a magnetic tip in your screw gun or magnetic screwdriver.

This is not the correct way to run the cleaning cycle and clean your machine. You do not dilute the vinegar, you only fill to four cups and then you let the cleaning cycle run all the way through, you don't stop and restart it. After the complete cycle completes, then the light will go off.

Thank you! You made my job so easy! BTW, putting the hub on before putting the drum back n is definitely best.

I also had similar code. Mine was making a whirling noise during agitation. What I found was the sure way to test for a bad hub that is stripped. If you spin the agitator and the drum doesn’t move with it, either the hub is stripped or the agitator threads are stripped. They both should move. Another test I did was to take the hub off and go to diagnostic mode and see if sound is gone. If so it is the hub. $15 part so you can keep an extra on hand.

Great video. I have the exact same washing machine and was getting banging during spin cycle. Replaced the shocks with OEM. Still banging. Took off the hub. Teeth look good. Ended up buying a new one but would still like to figure this out. If I spin the inner tub by hand, it has a slight wobble to it (I can send video). Any idea what would cause this???

THANK YOU!! This worked!! I made a makeshift tool similar to yours out of a wire hanger and a piece of t-shirt. It pushed out a huge goop of disgusting sludge and now it drains properly!
