I wonder what she would think about the book ( Mr. Fix It and Miss Sue ). It is. no nonsense coming of age story where the brat dose not get her why. Book overview This is the poetic tale of Miss Sue, a contentious young woman no matter what a father and mother would do. In trying to raise a proper woman of dignity and respect, what she became as she grew up was something they did not expect. So what are the parents to do when they are down to their last wit, and realize they have no choice but to send for Mr. Fix It.

Hello, which model of speed queen you have? We hear so much bad reviews on the product that e do nit know anymore. How kong have you had your set? Tthey say that 2017 and unercthe speed queen was one of the best but not the mosels 2017 and more . Apparently the newer models do not wash clothes at all no matter what you do. Since you are using them for a while you do you think your clothes are clean enough to your satisfaction? Also did you try to wash blankets in the machine and which size of blankets ?

We made this tough decision last year too. My oldest is a may bday and he did an extra year of preschool...BUT I also did k at home to try out homeschooling. I wish I hadn't done both. He has some challenges that I think need an extra year to work thru. We decided to take an extra year before high school and give back that year he did prek and K. I think in the long run I want that extra year with him and for him to have more time to mature and grow confidence before going out in to the world independently. People may question it, but they don't know my kiddo like we do.

My Speed Queen TC5 was delived three weeks ago replacing my 12 year old Kenmore Elite front load with all the bells and whistles. That machine broke down five times in the 12 years I had it. The motor finally died with this last break down. IMO, front load washers are nothing but crap that not only don't clean your laundry, the constant mold build up on the gaskets and smell are a pain to constantly have to deal with. I opted for the TC5 because I wanted that old school agitating action and easy to fix transmission that I grew up with that actually cleans your laundry. The TR series is new and has yet to be proven for it's reliability and long-term durability whereas the TC5 is a tried and true model. Furthermore, my TC5 most likely will be the last washing machine I'll ever have to buy. In fact, it may even outlast me!

You have to get them to work in the first place! Just bought a TC5. Did one load without problems and then stopped before the final spin. They came to "fix" it . After they left did another load and stopped BEFORE the rinse cycle. Still trying Speed Queen because I like the control of water. (I might just like control generally;) Picked out a TR5 model hope it works. I think my local company hates me though.

I am getting SICK of the crummy Whirlpool dryer I inherited when I bought my house. Despite a professional duct cleaning and cleaning the lint screen each time, all my clothing made from t-shirt fabric comes out covered with little white balls. Also, the timer is starting to go. I am very interested in getting a Speed Queen dryer, and the washer as well if it's a good deal. My current GE washer seems to be marginally adequate at best. Do you have the TR7 or the TC5? I keep reading conflicting reports on their good attributes and the cons. Retired, I mostly wear sturdy fabric clothing, nothing flimsy. I have 2 cats, one of which is a Maine Coon. She contributes plenty of cat hair to the laundry. Does anyone have the Speed Queen pet hair eliminating dryer? If so, is it worth it?

My advice is definitely to consider purchasing the SQ DR7 dryer. DR7003WE is the product name by the way. This particular dryer has a unique cycle that handles pet hair, which appears to be really important to you at the moment. In regards to the washing machine... It all depends on your preference, some prefer the old-school washing Mike Tyson action (TC5), and some prefer the Floyd Mayweather (TR) series washing action. All up to you. Be sure to definitely consider the DR7 dryer though.

@@mackfar27 I found a work-around for my problem. I punched the Deep Fill button on my GE washer and then the clothes came out without the gummy feeling they used to have with the insufficient rinsing. Then, I had NO white lint balls on my clothing from that 22 year old Whirlpool gas dryer. Matter of fact, I just bought a new GE refrigerator (delivered today!) to replace the side by side I inherited with the house. I hated that thing so much, I wanted to stuff it with C4 and blow it up. Got a top freezer no bells or whistles, and LOVE the easy access to the food and huge storage. Anyway, the appliance salesman told me to use only ONE Tide pod per load in the washer and I'd avoid the the gummy clothes which would then attract lint. And to continue to use the Deep Fill button.
