Boot 40 times faster with an M.2 hat board. Just copy the Sd card to the M.2 and you will have a way faster setup. Raspberry pi 5 is even better with the M.2 setup. I just realized this is 6 years old lol!

We been testing this on a turbo fox street car, works very well, one thing we been also testing is the "rpm vs time" perfect pass traction control. Together they work very well with the changing street condition. Timed delay after launch helps getting out of the hole and.the perfect pass mode keeps the wheel speed in check even with out a vss style t.c. As the passes get faster we update the perfect pass rpm vs time curve. All of that was with the help of your video and applying it to our testing. Thanks for that great vid!

MS3 appears to have a different ability to take CAN BUS messages than MS2. MS2 uses the proprietary 29 bit CAN message. I wish someone could explain the different requirements in a more beginner style so that i could absorb it faster. its all new to me. but basically it wont take unless its requested. so after you setup the extension boards via can parameters. you have to also get the script right according to the MS2 CAN documentation. it would be awesome if there were more documentation on how to use some of the Libraries out there. as far as the unsigned char smtp there's a few more requirements to get MS2 to take it. the ID has to be specific not too bad. its in the documentation. but the rest of it i can't understand. everything has to refer to the correct table and offset. which i have no idea how to translate yet.

@@Nocturnalfishing I remember I downloaded the latest version of Java first and when I tried to run tuner studio, lots of errors came up. I found that tuner studio didn’t support that version of Java. If I were you, I’d research what will work with tuner studio first. Maybe it’s changed since I tried

If you are trying to get this to work, you're pulling out your hair, stumbled into this well done video, it confirms everything you were doing, but yours still won't work for some reason ... try power cycling your MS3. The new update Rpi does not use that autostart directory. USE: sudo nano /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart Or use this tutorial kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sMtyaLea0qqymmw.html

The latest version of TS for Linux hides the Dash Only Mode menu. There is a script that can be added to the TunerStudio.properties file that should restore the menu, but is currently not working. I have contacted EFI and they are working on a fix.

I know this is a old video but I followed all your steps but when i get to the detect button it doesnt detect the ecu. any ideas? Im using a usb to rs232 cable
